  1. no problem mate have the same tank on or 6820 and 6830 only reason noticed it
  2. nice looking models mate only comment is the fuel tank on the 69 should go all the way down they curve at the bottom to allow the mudgaurds not to hit it. but only a small comment mate and not a critisam.
  3. Very nice mate that is the best trailer build i have seen. cant beleive you have managed to get all the latches to work. my hat of to you sir.
  4. bit of heavy construction there very fine work with the welder
  5. if he wants to give an to me sean that will be alright by me
  6. i wouldn't mind one of those either. ye jez remember going to the launch of the 6000 at edinburgh with my uncle and them showing the frame design. just wonder if all the laws hadn't changed would we have seen new engines. we probarly would have though because everybody wants more power. I remember when a 2850 was the average size of atractor on a farm with one 6 cylinder the head tractormans machine for all the big work.
  7. so what engine was in the 6600 just the same engine that was in the 50 series or was that a total new engine to.
  8. cheers jez. the 20 series had teir 2 engines didnt they.
  9. I know what your saying mate the first 6000 and 6010 series had a bit of charcter but the newer deeres are starting to loose the look. must admit i used to like the look of the fergies in the 80,s and 90,s but they are all starting to look alike now.
  10. good to hear that mate have you got any pics. that what gave them the power increase then mate the new engine
  11. just bought a mccormic mtx 175 for the wheels and axle to build a 6910 john deere. also bought a AGRISEM, DISC-O-SEM DS1100 for 18.99 new from e bay.
  12. so is 2010 the year that we will see a lot more kit coming from your workshop
  13. well wish i had the skill to build a scratch combine like the 1075 would look good with the older deeres a 3350 maybe. i hope you do alot more of the scratch builds mate may even get to see some in the flesh at one of the shows this year. may'be we'll even have a ftf display at zwolle this year featuring some of the models from here.
  14. well i look forward to seeing a combine to fit that decade. what combine would fit that in the fergie range. 1075 would do if it was john deere.
  15. very nice sean any pictures of ash tree in the 80's with the kit you used then.
  16. very tidy sean. that trailer looks almost real mate a nice 2140 2 whd with opu pulling it to caet of from your deere combine.
  17. there wasn't that many changes between them. as far as i can remember the graphics were changed the cab interrior had a slight change in colour. also the tractors were given a slight power increase. also auto power was introduced but dont think it was on the early models. jez would no more of the differences.
  18. wish we still had a 6600 they were hardy tractors. there must be a few hours on those that your neibourgh runs.
  19. jez they made both mate a 6410 and a 6200 with loader
