  1. I don't think there's much between Case or New Holland pricing, maybe there was a personel change. Our local Case dealer's rep left for the New Holland dealer last year and he told me recently he has already been told he will get the business from a local contractor who has several Case Puma's. Lots of Fendt's here too and yes they are prefixed "A" usually AE or AU Sean.
  2. Pinched this picture from one of the locals who run several T7 NH's mostly Blue Power and it would appear that last year they had use of a pre production T7.300. This is fast becoming my favourite ever basildon blue tractor!!
  3. A few more from the used stock section and a few from the new stock section.
  4. Good show as usual, some nice kit too. A few notable absentee's, no Bednar, no Macdon header for the CR11 & no food stands😡 Not enough new T7 LWBs either, just one T7.300 with an awful wrapping scheme stuck over the maserati blue........a criminal offence. Other than that it was really good😄 Here's a few pictures, I'm sure other's will share some too.
  5. I was considering buying the new tri axle Veenhuis but its well over £100, then this Joskin tanker came up on ebay for half as much, and its a really well detailed model with lots of attachmens too. I already had the rear implement for use with the UH Volumetra model, so its worked out very well. Will go nicely with the other models on my forthcoming new contractor layout.
  6. I took these pictures in fading light on a Velcourt farm near Bury St Edmunds yesterday of various works going on useing new CASE tractors. New cab versioned Optum 300 and Puma 240, plus 150 on trailer and new 165 on destoner. As this farm always changes its fleet regularly I was hopeful I might spy a brand new style Puma 240 or 260 so I wasn't disapointed. And as their tractors have got ever bigger so has the colosal new planter on the 240s rear end.
  7. Probably. But the pound, dollar, yen & Euro are all heading for the monetary dustbin!!
  8. I remember as a boy in the early 70s buying my daily packet of Smiths salt & shake crisps at the corner shop for 2 1/2 pence, that was the peak of the £pounds purchasing power. It is now all but knackered and a similar packet of crisps in now over 50 pence! So as the sand runs out of the timer faster towards the end its not surprising to see model prices gettingto daft levels. It does beg the question however, how can UH roll out the current crop of very accurate tractor models (except MF 6S/7S) for only £65 each.
  9. No pictures of new models??????????? I don't understand that given how many we had at last years show.
  10. I like the fuel bowser Alex, very nice, where did that come from? You may need to add a few more tractors now to give your bowser more to do😁
  11. Although this is all in German language it is a fascinating insight into the difficulties and details of setting out a major agricultural stand. The logistics of getting the "disguised" New Holland CR11 and its massive header into the building are incredible.....................enjoy!
  12. I went out for a short drive to get to a local walk I like to do and ended up being stuck behind a 4x4 as a tractor run passed. I knew nothing about it but half the local farming community were in it!! I saw at least 25 JD 6Rs incl new 250,215, 195s,185s and a dozen Fendts mostly 700s plus a 943 tracked & a new 942, and 8 newish NH Blue powers incl a T7.340 & mostly 7.270s. A few nice Claas axion's, CASE Puma's & Valtra's. Virtually no decent MFs though, although plenty of old ones, 135s, 185, 3095, 3630 & a nice Ford 8210 series 2😎 And this was the first time I had no camera & no iphone to photograph anything🙄
  13. That seems a good bet Barry and maybe also a revised 8500 forager or a bigger new one like the 9900 perhaps.
  14. Not spraying the wheels red Hugh?? Makes a helluva difference.
  15. This has come around very quickly after last years bonanza of new models, most of which have just about been released. A toy dealer told me recently that there are lots of releases planned for this year, but given how many leading tractor model manufacturers launched new kit recently I can't imagine theres too much more to come from them. We know a UH Quad 715 is on the way and someone (maybe Marge) will release a NH CR11 but what else could be coming?
  16. Its amazing how just repositioning and improving the cab design can make such a diffrence to these new NHs. Have you had any through in standard blue yet Jack?
  17. A few nice blue power NHs in local dealers yard including two new T7.300s
  18. She looks well with those rear wheel weights on her and is the same colour as an 8280 a local farmer bought last summer😎 He also had that Java 7250 out on demo in the autumn.
  19. I do like the mad asian driving, they just trust to luck that they wont hit anything going flat out around a blind corner🙄
  20. They need a Massey 390 on that diorama eh Trig😉
  21. I noticed earlier that Brushwood Toys are showing a "currently out of stock" status on their pre order page for the New Holland T7300? It hasn't arrived yet and they have already sold their allocation!! And yet again the Puma 260 is out of stock mostly everywhere. So I rang Northwest diecast whom I buy plenty of models from and he said he to has sold out of the puma 260 again and has them on a re order but they can't give him any date for a delivery!! Certainly supply chain issues are occurring. The blue marque if far more popular than the red one so we shouldn't be surprised they are selling out on pre order, I made sure to order myself a blue one before NWFM also run out of stock, might be worth doing the same just to be sure to get yours chaps and avoid disapointment. They are due in 2 weeks+ and the blue power version should be available 2 weeks after that. https://northwestfarmmodels.co.uk/shop-1/ols/products/universal-hobbies-6604-132-scale-new-holland-t7300-auto-command
  22. Very good video this one showing the building of slightly updated cabless MF300 series tractors for hot climates. Trigger will be placing his order for a 385 shortly😄
  23. Yes I agree, but if I could afford a half million pound Claas tractor I could hardly claim to be fed up😄 There are some very wicked people in positions of power currently and many will be at the WEF meeting in Davos this week spouting more nonsense & rhetoric which likely will make farmers feel even less appreciated.
