  1. hi

yes it has taken a while , more the working out all the bits to get it to work , . forward and reverse driver , loader , muck for to fit , mudguards, wider track  to take the loader , and new front Axel to widen the front track so it looked ok ,

i will be making more , the customer wants 4 if this one is OK , and i will make to order  @ ?50 each + p&p

  2. hi

that's OK , they are not that mean on here ?? , i would like to add fine detail but like i said time would add to the price and postage would be a nightmare., i am just trying to give people what they want ,  i look at the board for ideas and  comments about conversions , if i can make cheaper , better  , i will try , i still have a few new model ideas to build , when time allows. i have a idea for the forum tractor  but  i will show a proto when made ( week or 2)  so don't ask what it is , i will build one and see what you think.

back to the tanker , i am selling these @ ?45 + p&p , if  anyone want to buy these please email direct and not via the forum, thanks

  3. not a patch on the one on

    www.farmmodels.net

    sorry Dave

i know there is not as much fine detail on the models i make and the  parts need to be cast in resin so i can make more , but i make to sell , and if i put the fine detail on the items would not get to the customers complete as 95% of my items go in the post  and the one on farm models is not for sale mine is @ ?45 + p&p , dave

  4. hi

there is 2 ways of doing the hole , a bit of tape across the hole which would work or just let the rubber through and cut when set , which i did , slide the knife down and cut .

i was playing with the resin tail gate but not using it yet , the the grain shoot i glued to the marston trailer was to the original ,as for blue i don't know about the colour match , will try some in red soon.

    as for price , don't know , ?2.50 tailgate & grain shoot ( no ram , unpainted ) grian shoot ?1 ( unpainted, no ram) all + p&p

  5. hi

what trade secrets ?? , i have had to learn all i know, i have tried different resins and moulds , i don't use lates , i use silicone rubber , and plastic resin , these are bough trade sizes , the mould for the potato harvester cost ?65 in rubber alone..the rubber moulds last about 25 times depending on what it is that is cast ..

cab moulds i imake are in a 2 part mould , inside and outside , ( a simple pour mould or a squish mould)

i am doing some basic moulds tomorrow & casting , these are marston trailer back door & grain shoot so i will photo the set up and you can see what goes into it ..
