spread out my hay again, realised it wasnt going to dry today so made plans to bale it and wrap it but as i got half the field rowed up the rain came on again, it now looks like a field spread with dung :'(

havent seen any new combines in our area yet, but there is rumors of a lexion 600 and a case 8010 coming in to the area.

I would go and get on with some of your model conversions instead Andy. After today I think we should have better sunnier and warmer weather ... fingers crossed.
probably a good idea bill

cheers folks
its not been a good day so far,was hoping to bale my hay today but the rain has played havoc again. :'(

yesterday while baling hay to a neighbour, the baler picked up some netting wire that was lying in the bout its not good stuff to pick out of the rotor and pick up. > >

got home last night to find someone had nicked an old car i had sitting at the farm, it was only a car for going through the fields but it had some tools in the boot, the girlfriends house keys were in it, so now might have to change the locks and i was going to scrap it before i go to spalding or toytrac this year for some cash for models > > >

i tried a soft polishing pad on the dremal, it works as long as you dont press too hard or it digs into the plastic. But try it on a scrap piece first

raining up here in Aberdeenshire again, the afternoon was looking like promising hay weather but all hopes have faded again :'( :'(

spending most of the day turning hay only for it to start raining before we could get the baler going

Hi Big A. Thanks for asking and yes there is a lot of silage still to do up here, I would say less than half of it is done due to continual wet weather. There is a lot of grass cut and waiting to be picked up and a fair bit still to be cut a first time. Plenty work on the books if it would only dry up now. Some fields have been getting really churned up with heavy trailer traffic and not just at gateways. Everyone I've spoken to round here has said it's the worst summer they can remember since 1993. Not good at all The guy who has the farm where I park up all my equipment has over 40 acres he plans to make hay of if it would dry up, but it may end up being wrapped as silage or haylage yet as his 2 pits are both full
similar story down here as well, some people speaking about combining and others still on first cut silage, acres and acres of hay been lying spread out for days now and fields beginning to look like the glastonbury site after the festival

i agree!!! The models look spot on, well done!
Does anyone know if the siku MF 8280 would fit a UH Chassis? sorry to hijack!
cheers
Noel
not sure, but while we are on the subject would a britains 6270 fit on to a k100 chassis quite easily.
