The 2 year replacemnet thing might be becouse its onslod with some warenty for the next guy to make the second hand deal better?
i know a guy that has cat diggers and buys them with 3000hr warentys and trades up at 2000hrs to keep 1000hrs for next owner
he recons he deffntly sells his machines like that, he kept his fav digger till 4000hrs and had a hard time getting that sold.. go figure

you have to change abit of pipe work around and remove all the cutting drum and change the lift rams and a computer. all fiddly stuff, both our mowers still have there chutes on, dont know why, ill find the pics i have of both ours side by side
-
did you do it with that new tamiya stuff thats just come out? just i was looking at some in a shop today, but at £9 per pot I thought I may try it another day
tamiya texture paint DD, its pretty good, goes along way, ive filled all the lugs and havent used 1/4 of the pot, its sandy when it drys, water based, i like it, i recomend it, i see there is a grass green one also so i might have to try that on some stuff

are there any plans for a blue top NH version??
-
all i can say is get in there and do it, just get a air brush, a cheapy is good to learn on, just dust it up 1st, play around on some paper, then move up , its realy easy
i use to drive a 6310 like this i cleaned it weekly but by friday it looked simolar and that didnt have leaky rams, the trailer, that was a diffrent story
-
intresting pictures, on that nh forager, do they use it to cut the grass, then refit the pick up to get it in?? or is it just cutter power only? never seen it cut like that on front of a forager only tractor mounted ones
we have 2 of them sean, 840 jag and 850 jag, both a mowers year around, take a cople of days to change over, a proper team of claas mechanics say they can do a full change in 3 hrs, thats using 6 guys..... not worth it...

will try more with my next one
