  7. i did say to Mike that as its quite a expensive model, i was a bit worried, but felt it needed improving with lights, it just let it down painted silver yuk yuk, but its turned out well i think. it was disaster at the begining, as i got 1/32 jewled lights off brian norman, dilled out the casings, but they looked far to small. but found that by putting in 1/50 scale lorry lights from there light bars hey presto they look right size ;D just depends how confident you are with a drill

  10. Hi the contractor you work for isn't philip mathews by any chance ?? and years ago i use to work for a small contractor by the name of olly eld from cholesbury who use to do carnells silage. then i went and worked for philip. cheers Ronnie.

  13. Thanks for your concern, but she's had a lot of her insides taken away, with cancer cells being removed , but she's on the mend now, hopefully on the road to recovery. many thanks Ronnie.

  16. Hi Tris, well am wanting to build something different, not sure as to what yet \ but something not run of the mill. But am in the process of building some ( old farm buildings for 60's,70's tractors ) still in 1/32 scale but will be smaller as tractors etc was a lot smaller back then, see how it turns out thanks again for everybodys comments.   18. Thanks Deere-est, i've built this to the ones used on the farm next door where i work part time, and these come with hubs and nuts painted green, but i agree with you, a small point, but never the less a eye for detail makes it that extra bit special. a model not a toy. cheers Ronnie.

  20. :-X don't ask, ohh you can but don't tell the mrs, it was a vintage john bull printing set i got off e-bay @ ?20.00, expensive but the lettering is just about right scale.
  21. Hey the trailer looks well, a lot different. needs a bit of detail adding to her & being a big trailer needs a big brute in front to pull her fully loaded, a nice 8350 mmmm that would be 8)

I know what you mean britainswomble, the fun we had back then in the 70's, we also had competitons, ( no fun when on the stack & bales are coming up 90 to the dozen ha ha! ) and you was treated to a ice cream and a bottle of pop !!! driving a john deere 6920s now or a ford 5000 then i know which gave you the best fun and happiness ;) Ahhh memory lane :
