Thanks for all your commets Wasn't that difficult. I found it was easier to dismantle the 7810 completely to cut the end weights off and fix the loader brackets on

Choosing the right sand was difficult, fine, coarse, washed, graded, as dug, as well as price. It took 6 loads to find the one that suited us. Mastitis cases have dropped by over 75% since we moved to sand. Holsteins have had a positive influence on the dairy industry, increasing yields and efficiency. I'll agree that has not been the case for the beef but then again they are a dairy breed not a dual purpose.

If you have cubicles sand is the bedding of choice, clean, comfortable and inert.

Just found this topic, an brilliant layout. Well done Graham. If the cows didn't take so much of my time I'd love to be able to bulid something similar.
