  1. Is the cat no. an Autoway or Road Series one?
  2. Another Road Series model in an Autoway box Box end with Road Series catalogue number
  3. SAMPLE Road Series Unimog with pipe trailer. I know it's in an Autoway box, see next picture. Not too sure where I bought this, but I didn't know what it was until I opened it up at home Box end showing the Road Series catalogue number Mercedes signs on the doors are cut out from the grill sticker/decal, compare with a production version Sticker on the underside
  4. Okay, as promised First up Road Series Unimog with Autoway pipe trailer
  5. I have most if not all of the road series, not all boxed. Somewhere I have a SAMPLE ONLY marked Unimog, trying to track it down at the moment Its a full Autoway trailer in yellow complete with Autoway stickers, I do have a boxed Road Series one somewhere though. Pictures to follow........................... hopefully
  6. Interesting labels, perhaps produced for a chain store, going by the description on pic. 2 label? A few pictures of 9888 Last one, I hope you don't mind this being posted here? A Road Series Unimog with Autoway Pipe Trailer, as bought
  7. All boxed? Pictures please to include any box labels/numbers/markings. A yellow truck cabbed LR would be a nice find, I reckon only as a pre production model though! The hardtop was available in yellow on the BT LR, not to sure if the same shade of yellow though. 9888 came my way recently, LR has a black hard top and tail gate. I'll post pictures Look forward to those John, another un-catalogued variation
  8. Just looking through this thread catching up on the recent activity and happened to look at the label on this box set which states "This Special Autoway Set" and also "compressor not included" although it appears to have been included from the off! Another set to seek out Does it have any more numbers on the box appart from the two shown on the front? Also looking at the box art the Land Rover has the yellow truck cab as depicted on the LR from set 9891 as shown in the 1989 catalogue. I suspect that your LR came with a black truck cab as it has a black tail gate.
  9. Me too! Its finding stuff that's the difficult part
  10. What about using liquid mask in this sort of area?
  11. It appears to be missing its tilt. Perhaps an end of line mongrel
  12. A recent purchase. I'e seen one of these before somewhere, as the box art/picture is ringing a very feint bell, but cannot remember where It's not listed anywhere as far as I can tell although it does have some numbers on the box and sleeve. Maybe it was put together for a shop chain a bit like the boots playbase? The packaging is all original,as far as the seller could tell. I think it's incomplete as there is not enough to hold all objects securely. There appears to be too many men with spades and not enough with stop/go signs and no cones, easily sorted though.
  13. I have a spare one, without the hardtop though BT LR's do appear on eBay quite often(ish) Yep a little darker but not much in it. Only ones I've seen are the ones I have. There is also a cardboard shop display stand out there somewhere, not found one yet
  14. Sorry, was a question as to whether the BT Land Rover was the same colour yellow or not. Love the box set, a hard one to find. I know, eBay now! Some of mine. Deutz Dx110 with replacement cab on cardboard cube Cube, as obtained Shelf edger with roller Poster
  15. I have one or two or more but not all of them. I won/bought a Deutz with the Volvo wheels, via eBay, all the way from Ireland. When it turned up it was a green one with red Volvo wheels that had been spray painted all over yellow, and obviously painted yellow at that. An honest trader though, who refunded me all monies without a making a song and dance about it when I returned it. I did see a 7710 with Chevrons decals on the bonnet instead of the FORD 7710 decals, as shown in the '84 catalogue. The black decal'd Volvo's were originally released in the Farm range with a 9590 cat. number, so I don't suppose many came out in an Autoway box although shown in the '84 catalogue. With regards 9887, 9888 and 9889 I don't have any of them ..................... yet It's not the same colour yellow as the BT LR is it? What's the significance of the blue inner trays?
  16. NH T6.175 in Jubilee livery, seen at Newark last November
  17. I was going to post mine up but you've beaten me to it, lovely collection though. Interesting pair of Volvo 2654's, hadn't seen one on normal style wheels before, did that one come with the black decal'd cab? The boxed set(s) seems to be the hardest to find along with the very early Deutz and Ford with Volvo style wheels, unless these where catalogue versions only! What ones are you seeking? Have you any road series?
  18. Not this one as I collect Britains Farm toys. Hopefully Britains will get it right at some point, most likely with a loader! Pictured elsewhere I believe, but as requested As noted before not much detail on the back end especially when compared to the MF7480
  19. Britains 42898 MF 6600. Ordered from Agco on the 23rd Dec and received today. Not a bad turnaround considering Christmas was in the middle of ordering and receiving, I'm impressed. 20. Looks okay to me, lot of bread but hey find another. Repaints stand out, to me anyway unless a poor picture, colour matching that paint appears to be difficult and painted cabs and trailers do not have a translucent look to them were the light shines through. Going by previous items sold by this seller this is 100% genuine as he lists items if repainted, whatever colour. Spades and clips are probably the first things to get lost, so not unusual, closely followed by the cab and implement lift attachment/device probably. I only have one clip but only because it's tied to the spade with thread! I have one with this wheel/tyre combination they are perfect too.
  21. Showing my age now, but I had one of these new and still have part of it.................. the cow. and the chassis A lovely trailer, probably my favourite, but so fragile Boxed ones are almost as rare as the proverbial rocking horse doings
  22. My latest aquisisions A sticker from between 1964 and 1979, I recon the late 60's. 375 mm x 70 mm Toymaster poster A3 size, from 1987 as all pictures are used in the 1987 catalogue only. Also posted by another member A shop sales aid. There should be a small, clear plastic I think, holder for catalogues but this is missing. Its quite big, being nearly 1500 mm high 550 mm wide and about 400 mm deep The item in the final two photographs should be familiar to anyone who went to Toytrac in November when Britains/Tomy were in attendance. Did anyone win anything?
  23. I, vaguely, remember buying this book from the author at the Bill Richardson event, probably when new out, doesn't time fly. I have bought one or two lots of models and missed one or two bargains in the intervening years
