  1. Yo.......thanks alot for the feedback, here´s another picture of the Bergmann
  2. Hi dudes, Maybe you like this conversion. I have tried the MB Trac´s of Schuco, Siku and Weise to convert them to a MB Trac 1500. My opinion is that this is a good replacement for the MB Trac of Britians. The Bergmann Muck Spreader is made out of two standard models of Siku. It looks simple but this one was not easy to make. I´ll also will post these models to the scratch & conversion competition.
  3. Oooops what is this........... for all John Deere or 4-WD Articulated tractorfans like me....... well this is the John Deere where I waited for. What is your opinion on this marvoulus Johnny.
  4. Someone asked about the model what was the longest in production at Britains........... well I ask wich model has the most variations. With the variations I mean different colours, different decals or whatever. I think that there are the most variations in the 3-furrow plow. What is your opinion as a collector? Jacco
  5. wow, I don´t know exactly what I wanna buy but I could say this: SIKU: Nothing of the 2010 program Britains: some or nothing of the 2010 program Ertl: Some or nothing of the 2010 program Weise: All 2010 models UH: All 2010models Replicagri: All 2009 & 2010 Models MarGe: All Models This would say that I will ( want ) to invest about 2500 Euro´s in my collection. Than I also want to built a new showcase, about 4 meters long, 40 centimeters in depth and about 180 cm high. The most pleasure makes my order at Tyro Toys, by end of the year I´ll get my Kirovets K700, ACO & Agrico 4WD´s. Jacco
  6. Ok........ but don´t forget the diference between toys & models. Bruder, Siku and Britains are toys.......... that´s stuff to play with and in the 1/32 section, Siku is unbeatable. Wiking, UH, Replicagri and stuff like that are Models........... you get them out of the box, put them in a showcase and look at them. That´s why you have the difference between toys and models.......... most of the time you also see it at the price. Jacco
  7. Welll getting back on this theme.......I think that there are alot of reasons for the manufacturers to use more plastic than diecast. Reasons are; Plastic is cheaper than Diecast, the molds can be made cheaper as molds for metal, molds live longer by plastic as metal. Real good plastic casters are able to paint the plastic in the right colours, so no more painting after the casting. Plastic is not good for playing........... well my dear that is a rumour.......... check out the toys made by Bruder......... that´s good to play with. The most high quality, high detail model manufacturers are using plastic (resin). Jacco
  8. Ey Moritz............happy christmas.............and my question to you......... are there models on the market who are good enough for you because the most time (when we talk) you have negative comments on some models......... even when they are realy good. I think you must seperate the real one from the toy. The model development in the last 5-7 years made very big jumps and the quality wasn´t better as today so stop bugging around. Maybe the Steiger isn´t that good but what do you want......... it´s not a precision, not made by Replicagri or UH........... it´s an Britains / Ertl / RC2 or whatever............ they make toys to play with!!!! The quality from those brands is not that bad but cannot reach the quality of the french. So..........stop spreading negative arguments and think positive Happy easter, Jacco
  9. Look at this baby........ Ain´t she nice.......... Based on the MB Trac 1800 of Schuco........... lemmy hear your comments.. It´s also for sale on eBay Germany. I will build one more (almost finished) on Siku MB Trac base and 2 more on Schuco base. Next year I´ll try it to make the 1500 on Weise Base. Jacco
  10. sounds good but I don´t like pony´s and horses.........only when they are covered under the hood of a car. We will drive the trail thru the great smokey mountains and we gonna visit our daughter company. I wanna know more about how to get farm models in these states, how to get contact to some collectors, some information where I can stay for the night (cheap) and so on......... usable information for traveling euro-dudes. Jacco
  11. Helo collectors, Maybe very unusual but I´ll give it a try.......... My wife and I will visit the southern States of the USA in the last 2 weeks of April. That means Georgia, Alabama, Missisipi, Tennessee and so on. It would be great to hear from some US collectors where they live and maybe I can visit them to talk farm models in general. MAybe someone can inform me about farm toy fairs in these 2 weeks in one of the states. Last year I was in the Middle West and visited the National Farm Toy Show. I was very impressed about the american people in the middle west. Now I wanna find out if the southern people are also very relaxed and open minded. Lemme hear from you folks. PS: I know that there´s no Greenbow,AL....... That Forrest Gump doesn´t exist, and that not all southern people are rednecks or cotton pickers.
  12. What`s true about the rumour that UH has take over Ertl / Britians /RC2? Everywhere on this globe people are gossipping....... about there neighbours....... or if the B..bs of Pamela Anderson are real or not. Now I have heard a rumour on the show in Zwolle that Universal Hobbies took over Ertl / Britains / RC2. They have bought the RC2 company just for the BIG NAME licencies. Does someone know something about this gossip?
  13. [ [ Well see it like this........... when all 12 models they had delivered are not fixed with the clips inside the showcase ( the model has a free life inside the showcase !!!!!!) than I don´t wonder that the models are damaged. I´ve seen heavy chipped models, broken showcases and showcases with silver paint inside the glass. JAck
