  1. My brochure haul from Spalding. Many thanks to @Goodiestractorfor most of these, with other contributions from Ian Hopper and Martin Rickatson. Chuffed to bits with them all.
  2. Nice photos Phil, we definitely must have crossed paths throughout the day. Had a great time, didn't think i'd be photographing at an event in September warmer than Cereals in June. Sorry I didn't get caught up Gav, I ended up chasing around like a nutter as per usual. 😁
  3. Back on August 10th I was able to catch up with Birdsall Estate's new John Deere X9 1100 and 45ft header. This combine replaced a three year old New Holland CR10.90.
  4. Stunning work as always John, that looks superb. 🙂
  5. Correct mate, there's been quite a few C9306s and C7000 series combines leave their yard in recent times.
  6. Photographed these five working on farms all within less than five miles of each other back in 2012.
  7. Where these two are located I reckon there will be at least another dozen or more......although nothing much older than a few 6060HTS/6090HTS models these days.
  8. New Holland TF78 Elektra and CX7.80 combines also at work on August 10th.
  9. Deutz-Fahr C7206 TSB and C9206 TSB combines at work on neighbouring farms on August 10th.
  10. On August 8th I visited this New Holland CX5090 whilst baling close behind was a John Deere 6300 and New Holland BC5070 small square baler.
  11. A day later I ventured out to spend a afternoon with this Fendt IDEAL 9T on a good friend's farm, followed by a lovely 1985 Massey Ferguson 860, and lastly a 2022 New Holland CR8.80.
  12. My next trip out took place on July 29th after the rain relented to see a couple of the larger farms local to me harvesting winter barley and oil seed rape. The first of these were running a 2023 Claas Lexion 8900 and also had a latest generation 8800 on demonstration too. The second farm were running their recently acquired Claas Lexion 8800.
  13. What a contrast this year's harvest has been to last year's heatwave. It's true what they say, you never end up with two years the same. Although I've not photographed anywhere near as many combine harvesters as what I normally do due to the amount of writing i'm completing these days, here's a few that I have managed to visit. My harvest travels began this year on July 7th with this 2013 Massey Ferguson 7370 Beta Para-Level, and 2006 Claas Lexion 580 Terra-Trac.
  14. That was an awesome day John, even if you did have to put up with being on a blue one. 😀 Great to catch up. 🙂
  15. Would love to attend but not feasible this year due to the time of year it's being held. Hope you have a great time over there. @Goodiestractor
  16. They took part in the National Vintage Tractor Road Run held around Stranraer this year.
  17. Here's a quick phone snap of the only model I've unboxed so far of several that joined my collection this past weekend. Some of you might have seen a sneak peak shot of this lovely Ford 4630 put together by WE-Miniaturen on social media prior to Zwolle last week. It was one of the first models I bought over the weekend. Absolutely love it.
  18. That Delfino proper looks the part. Brilliant little conversion and great use of the Britains MF 135. So chuffed you found, and purchased those pre-production Saturno prototypes too. Easily one of the highlights of all of our purchases.
  19. Great looking show. Would love to attend one year.
  20. My harvest travels began yesterday near York with this 06 plate Claas Lexion 580TT tucking into winter barley. It was supported by this New Holland T7.270 Blue Power. Plenty having a nibble in winter barley between here and home, although it still feels like the middle to end of next week is likely to be the moment harvest kicks off properly around here.
  21. Very enjoyable day once it had stopped raining, the grub was fantastic......needed after the amount of chasing around I did between demo plots. Closest show to home i'll probably attend all year. Here's few photos out of the 2000 I took whilst there.
