Hello.
It looks very good with a steerable axle!I was thinking if you were to take the ford axle and drill out the to half axles on it and make your own stubs coudent that work this way you wont have to spend so much on buying 4020s and you will keep the orignal axles look you should experment with the old axle. ;D

Hello Lads.
Some thing has to be done about the new 5000 model its like taking a step back in time except the original had steering of some sort i think it looks great other wise this steering thing needs to be fixed before the 7000 comes out!!!!

Yes back in 2002 the working DBs were featured in an article in classic tractor. and this months tractor and machinery we are also in about my brothers restored 880/1200 and his 990 ect...

Thanks for the welcome I joined this site a long time ago just forgot about it I have seen the want for 12 and 14s DBs to be produced by britains and im going to join them the hole way in trying to get britains to make them.

I new you would like my boss recently bought a extreamly original 135 of my father recently it had very low hours and was still on one of its original rear tyres it had the same cab as used on the 240s he has partly restored it unfortunitely i did not take any pics my boss has a restored 35x a 390 2wd and a 5455 or so its called cant quit recal the number.

The White agri king 970 came from a contractor about 10 years ago the 970 was bought from the original owner in Dublin it was on demonstration with an 8 furrow plough in 1973 at the ploughing match.we have all the original paper work for it still.

We our selves own a Desert sunset coloured 970 one of only 2 sold new in europe and my uncles have a white coloured 970.
Here you can see our 970 at the back of the shed its the first tractor we bought to keep with the 2670 traction king coming second.
You can see the front of the white one in this pic i have no other pic of it.

We also have nuffields A 4/60 and a 10/60 industrial with wide wings and its original colour was grey it worked with an identical 10/60 in a guinness burey in Dublin.

We have no massys only tractors for sale or breaking they were not really liked by my father i like the big Classic US ones 1150 ect maybe we will get one of them some day i was dissapointed when my father scraped a rare Massey 188 Four wheel drive once and still dont like the fact that he scraped it many years ago he also scraped a 634 Internasional roadless 6 cylinder.
The four wheel drive sandwich box belonging to the massy is for sale and the 634 roadless backend is for sale pick up only if any ones interested.

Yes we are very fond of DBs Between My father brother and i there is 43 DBs My uncles use about 8 DBs for contracting Including 4 1200s a 1594 1694 2290 agri king 970 and a 1490 We break repair buy and sell classic tractors ford DB massy crystal ect..

Yes we are rebuliding the Skid steer Since the picture was taken it has been shot blasted the wings restored the seat restored its awaiting new tyres the engine to rebuilt and it resprayed ect..We also have a roadless 75 a JCB Mk2 Forestory conversion A new performance major a roadless Major ect a total of ten Fords and fordsons.
You can see the MK2 Jcb on the far left of one of the pictures.
There is also our JCB 4 which is used daily in the yard for lifting tractors ect altough a rough its jue some restoration in the futrue.

You have a fine fleet could i see a pic of the 996 and the 1455 i love does 1455s it would be good to get a tw 30/5 and 1455 and compare the two of them work wise seen as TWs are the greatist thing since television HA!
