  1. i think it was on the Thriplow thread that I recalled seeing pictures of the Claas Apollo but couldn't remember where It was in this brochure
  2. I have a memory of talking to someone on the Range Rover stand at the World Ploughing Match in Rosegarland in 1981 Today I was doing a big tidy out and I found this brochure that I got on the day, with the price written on it. I now remember that's what I was talking to the guy about. For reference, you could buy a nice 4 bed house for that money in 1981.
  3. There was lots of consolidation in the model kit sector in the last couple of decades, and as far as I can see the Revell moulds ended up with these guys. Many of the other 1:32 moulds from the good old days ended up with a company whose name escapes me. This guy has done some interesting videos about the history of the various model companies. I tbink kit was his Lockdown Challenge https://www.youtube.com/user/maxsmodels/videos

  10. There's also this Datsun King Cab I wonder who has the moulds for these now.
  11. There were two. One with the kart and another one. I remember being delighted to have gotten the one with the kart.
  12. Haha, maybe I should have sold it unbuilt There's a shrinkwrapped VW Caddy kit I've been thinking of building. What are they making?
  13. I must have it 15 years or so. They used to come up on Ebay every now and again in the USA. I've no recollection of where, when or how much at this stage.
  14. Delighted with how this has turned out. Debated painting it yellow, to go with the Milltown Plant fleet of trucks and vans, but went with Toyota Chili Red in the end
  15. Thank you James. Very informative. Have you looked into doing generic parts, such as trailer chassis, or even truck chassis, that could be sold to scratch builders to build up?
  16. Two quick ones across the desk today. T7.225 number 6 gets upgraded to semi rowcrops for tramline work Fronts are from a ROS T7050 and rears are inners from T7.225 number 7 which is the US variant The standard T7.225 rear wheels look good on the T6.180 Heritage Edition
  17. It is a fabulous model, and only £20. Cheaper than the MAP header trailer. It is a knacky build with a couple of curve balls (like all good kits) but excellent quality and detail
  18. These two finally get pictured together UH CR9090 and CR10.90 Revelation Must find time to photograph all the additions to the collection in the last couple of years
