  1. My little blitz has come to an end (for now) Still a lot of stuff on my to-do list, but delighted to have found the time to get this lot through the works, particularly the trucks This 850R has broken my heart so many times, but now it is diorama ready, even if its not perfect Would like to be able to tint the windows to match the matt black wheels and blacked out lights at some stage
  2. MAP header trailer for the Replicagri NH 8000 combines
  3. I can't think of a good colour for it, so for now it sits in the dunduckety yellow of Halfords Filler Primer Really pleased to finally have one of these in the collection, and the size is just perfect for the Scaledowns
  4. But the reason for these posts is this Knock Off Back Axle (KOBA) lowloader I've just finished I've been messing around with the idea of scratch building one for years, but I recently found this 1:35 kit online and built it over the weekend. This is the combo I've been waiting for.
  5. Also on the workvench for far too long, this County Crawler needs to be finished In 1965 this was the first bit of kit operated by Miltown Plant (until someone makes a 1:32 MF 35 and/or 65 backhoe)
  6. On the workbench for far too long, this 6 cylinder Super Major needs to be finished. In 1965 this was the prime mover at Miltown Farms for road haulage - milk churns, grain, straw and sugar beet.
  7. MAP header trailer for Replicagri NH 8000 series combines (as requested by Paul) Straightforward kit to build. Dry fitting will flag any tweaking before gluing. Should have gone with red as secondary colour, but however.
  8. 1970s Hino HE 6x4 and 4x2 tractor units 1980s Volvo N10 6x4 and F12 4x2 tractor units
  9. Hino HE 4x2 Hino HE 6x4 Hino ZM 6x4 tipper
  10. Next one out of limbo and assembled. Hino HE 4x2 tractor unit
  11. Another D series across the line Chassis from the Aoshima kit in the photo, shortened by about 1cm. Cab and trailer body were damaged in transit. Trailer chassis will be used in the future, possibly for a flatbed.
  12. This is the boring old fart version of the build Martin, although I'm not sure if I'll use the wing body on the back. Because the wheelbase is so long (c.18ft) it's hard to think of a use for it that would keep it under the weight.
  13. Another one finished. ARII Owners Club Toyota Celsior, or 1989 Lexus LS400 as it is known outside Japan
  14. It started life as a Yanky Mate. I'm not sure it if is based on a Hino, Mitsubishi or Isuzu. The cab and box body were badly damaged in transit, so I had a chassis in need of repurposing. I have another D series almost finished which is also on a modified Aoshima chassis for the same reason. More on that later in the week.
  15. Mr Kipling makes exceedingly good cakes, and Mr Tepper makes exceedingly good Ford D series kits This one is built on an Aoshima chassis and represents a milk churn collection truck from the late 1960s
  16. Finally getting stuff finished. First up the AMT/ERTL Volvo N10 6x4 kit
  17. Well wear. That's on my shopping list too. Got the MAP header trailer in anticipation.
  18. Well wear. That's on my shopping list too. Got the MAP header trailer in anticipation.
  19. Sitting on the spout of the Jaguar and then falling into the trailer was a new one for me.
  20. Dry and calm forecast for Tue n Weds, so hopefully get this lot through the spray booth and ready for final assembly
  21. Usual story, more new projects going onto the workbench than are being finished 4 Litre Toyota, 10 Litre Volvo and 12 Litre Volvo
