  1. Could we see some more pictures of the two Kverneland ploughs side by side? How do they compare?
  2. That's just a little bit awesome.
  3. I don't know the detail, but that sounds pure daft. Mandating a 3 or 4 crop rotation, or mandating cover crops, or mandating fertility building crops in a rotation, would all make perfect sense, but mandating that a block of land must carry three crops in the one year is nonsense.
  4. Spotted a few silage outfits around the place today. First up was a TM150 and TVT (or T75**) mowing with JD mowers. Didn't see the rake, but the harvesting crew was a JD7700 harvester with an 8160, 8360 and TM165 drawing with Smyth trailers. Second up was a strange one. A Claas 840 filling a T7.210 with a new Smyth trailer in the corner of a field of barley. Third up was Bob White with a classic fleet of New Holland 2100 SPFH filling his three Ford 7810s with Ruscon 12 tonners and a terracotta New Holland 110-90 with a Redrock 12 tonner. Last up was a strange outfit that looked like it was put together for a long draw. Harvester was a Claas 840 (I think) and hauling away from it was a motley range of colours pulling Redrock and Smyth trailers. Case 5130, Case CS120, NH TS115A, Valtra N, JD6430, Deutz Agrotron 150 and a Fiat F140. Will hopefully get some pictures of grassmen in the coming days.
  5. Thanks for that Paul. I didn't know there was such a thing until I saw your post. I called into the local New Holland Dealer today and the guy I spoke to didn't know about it either. He phoned me later to say he had found them and had put one away for me. Will hopefully pick it up next week. Also, can you post the part number so that Niels can get his local dealer to order it.
  6. A John Q for the 25th Anniversary? Would have thought you'd have splashed out on something upmarket, like a Fendt or a Newfie.
  7. BOR put on his Santa hat and took a spin down the east coast in his sleigh to deliver these two beauties just before Christmas.
  8. Wow! I have a dwelling house on my to-do list and I'll be well pleased if it ends up being 10% as awesome as this.
  9. A gentleman from Norn Iron by the name of Brian O'Reilly. Don't click on this link! http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/topic/11602-my-model-builds-past-and-present/
  10. North of Arklow near Jack White's, I saw a team lifting fodder beet. Newfie TS115 with a small older single row Armer-Salmon and a Massey 6480 with a newer, big tank, single row Armer-Salmon. Carting away were a Massey 6280, a 6480 and an 8220.
  11. BOR is building a set of New Holland 717 precision chop harvesters next month. It would look fantabulous behind that 8700 with the 7700 running alongside with a Marston 12 tonner in tow. Smashing pics as always.
  12. You're thinking of the UK spec T7.210. The Irish spec T7.210 invariably comes with the fuel pump/ECU dialled up to 11. "And what horsepower do you want her to put out?" as the salesman always says.
  13. I'd have thought a suitably ballasted and dualled up T7.210 would be up to the job. I saw a John Q 6190R with one (on the road) a couple of weeks ago. But yes, the big beastie can handle it with ease.
  14. Are the rams on the loader the wrong way up? I always remember the 80 as having inverted rams. Hope you're enjoying the day Sean.
  15. In one of life's little twists, I happened to be introduced to the owner of the above mentioned CVX yesterday and got invited up to see his machinery yard. It was like heaven. Most notable were a County 1164, TM155, DB 1412, JD 4955, Case Magum 335, Cat Challenger and New Holland CR9080. I hope to get back for pics some day soon.
  16. I passed a John Q 6190R with a Vaderstad Topdown 400 on the road today, then saw a Case CVX with 7 furrow Lemken in a field. A couple of miles up the road was a Jag 900 cutting maize with an 07 Lambo 165.7, 12 John Q 6190R and 13 Newfie T7.210 drawing with Red Rock 200s. Whilst I was watching that lot a Fendt 720 roared by with a 6m Amazone Catros on't back.
  17. Has anybody got the part number for the Senator so I can order it from the local dealer? Thanks in advance.
  18. Fendt 7/800 Vario with Grimme topper and Grimme trailed harvester together with two more 7/800 Varios carting (one of which was an 820)
  19. I have three of the four 229* models and I'm open to selling them. Send me a PM. http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/topic/18935-my-case-international-and-case-ih-collection/
  20. Thanks for those pics David. I think I may end up purchasing one of those TW10s after all, however the rear wheels will need replacing with something more realistic.
  21. Has anyone got pics of the new Britains TW10 side-by-side with the old ERTL TW20?
  22. My Dommy 96 was collected from the local dealers today. I should have it tomorrow. Also bought a Bburago VW Golf GTi today.
