This one really is starting to look dusty. After over a year of inactivity, due mainly to a lack of time I've finally been able to get back to this one. I am currently working on getting the old french "breton" 70's style farmyard up. It shall consist of two mud-walled buildings for the cattle, and a haybarn. I am going to try and pack as many details in as I can think of, and a fair bit of weathering should be involved . Here are a few snaps of the first building, where the calfs used to be kept; I haven't decided yet wether to cover it with corrugated iron or slates ? No, it's sisal string that I cut to a certain length, glue it on with wood glue and then paint it. It takes quite a long time to do but I like the look of it once it's finished.

I've been back at work on this project for a few weeks now, so here is what I have been up to : If you want any other specific views, just ask

I used the valtra C120 chassie from uh. I think it will be a tl90, I quite like them.

This is what has been occupying my spare time lately. The paint isn't very good because dust fell on it (why does it always have to fall on wet paint??? ) in fact i'd be interested to know how you (where?) paint your models. It is of course not finished, the main difficulty of geting that horrible britains cabin to resemble something like the real one is still to be done. A part from that the exhaust and lights have to go on and I am not sure yet wether it will have a loader or a front linkage (or both?) or what I will badge it as.

Well, it's been a while, so I thought I would give you a bit of an update... MF 8280 + krone baler in hay : More pics to come sometime soon of the new additions to the yard.

I also have one, and I have got all the measurements (at least I think I have... ) because I also want to make one...

Well, it's been a long time since I posted any pics of the farm, so here goes. I didn't like my old cow shed (the dairy one)so I decided it was more than time for demolition A new metallic frame building (garret style) has been put up, the tiles for the milking parlour have been mostly put down (I first tried with the glue gun as it said on the packet and made a real mess of it, all those need re gluing, so then I spread some pva over the base and it was near perfection ) The wall that supports the frames has had all the bricks carved on it one by one. I have layed a bit of mud in the field next to it and the slurry tank is under way. So here is just a taster pic (all the others I took are rubbish because of the poor light up there) : I'll try and take some other more detailed ones (it doesn't help that I'm always shaking when I take the pics, because of the funny positions I get into to take them...)
