OK thanks, another Ford question then, this Fordson Major had large and thick metal buffers back and front and some sort of canister holder on the side, to me it looks like a shunting tractor but does anyone else have the answers It must have been a pig to get in and out of as there are no doors and you have to climb in through the back of the cab ??? ??? ???
  2. I have never heard of a mowing contest before but it looks like great fun :D :D , thanks for posting
  3. I know others have got these but I do think they are very good models

A question for the Fordies on here....... at the NW tractor show there were a number of different Dextas, what is the significance of the different front ends
  5. Finally a picture poser, what is this implement for? It was made by Ferguson for a specialised application and I have never seen one before, Marky have you got a brochure? Hopefully this is a link to the full album if you want to see the rest http://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/robbo2011/NW%20Tractor%20show/

  15. Just got back from this years NW Tractor Show which is held at Myerscough Agricultural College just off the A6 between Preston and Lancaster, it is also on tomorrow (Sunday) if you feel the need to visit. I had the trusty camera with me and I took 156 photos :o :o Obviously I'm not going to post them all but hopefully this will give you a taster. If I work out how to do it I will post a link to the Photobucket album with them all in just in case you need any more. For starters there was an auction today, there were over 600 lots and whilst some were piles of rust there were some interesting lots Nice old Fergie, made £800 I think David Brown, not sure what model, may be a 770 MF65, reached £2600 but vendor refused to sell at that price DB VAK1 sold for £2400 IH B250 made £800
  16. http://www.autodrome.net/index.php?action=home&lang=NL quite a lot of Ford stuff on there as well ;) ;)
  17. Great collection David and one that I might aspire to owning. I think we might have similar tastes on the collection department as I also have a number of different marques and I an trying to build a time line for each individual manufacturer. I have just started on the Renault/Claas lineup but then along come these new Unimogs from Weise/FTF and the Chatre show edition and they might just leapfrog to the top of the list \ \ \ \
  18. Sorry to drag this old topic up, but does anyone know if anything is wrong with Chris Lockwood (aka Belarusfan), his site hasn't been updated since the end of April and that is very unlike him? \ \ \ \
  19. Glad to see you back as well David, I did think you had been banished to the cellar for the massive haul you got at Spalding ;D ;D ;D
  20. That sounds incredibly rude.......I know it isn't but I just have this picture in my mind : :
  21. Looks like he (or a friend) has been bidding against himself to drive the price up and got caught out
  22. Marky that is wonderful.... I nearly fell off my chair laughing at that one :D :D
  23. Bill the blue crawler is a Zetor, it is the only one in the UK, I saw it at the North West Tractor Festival at Myerscough last year and it has also featured in Classic Tractor Nice pictures though, you must have spent an age uploading them to PB ??? ??? Edit, I have just noticed that it is a different tractor, seat is different and it is missing the decals, must be more than one in the UK then [ [
