  1. I love the old Schluter tractors and your description of a new "plastic" tractor in the field with them :D :D
  2. Ebay is annoying me at the moment, I am trying to list something, (non farm toy related), and it won't load pictures, it has been saying "pending" for the last hour > > >

    Grow your own...!

I may not be much of a grower when it comes to giant show type veggies but I have always had a small plot in the garden. This is this years effort, mainly spuds and onions but they are both staring to show through. I only grow early spuds, firstly they are best straight from the ground and secondly they are the most expensive to buy. After they are lifted then I can then get some courgette plants into the same ground. Maincrops are in the ground too long for me and they are cheap enough in the shops by then as well The second picture is some peppers and chilli peppers that were started in the conservatory (I haven't got a greenhouse) and are now ready to go on the windowsill
  4. Thankfully Nick you only got the back of my head...... ;) ;) , nice to meet you anyway, don't forget to look out for a JD shirt for me :
  5. Off to the Lake District for a short break so won't be back on here until Monday........byee ;) ;)
  6. Right choice of tractor ;) ;) would like to see pics of the full fleet
  7. The halls were smaller than I had thought but there was a lot more crammed in than I expected. Because of the number of people I think I missed a few things that I have now seen in Markys photos. It also made it a bit of a scrum down early on to get to the stalls and see everything that was on offer. Still, I will be back next year ;) ;)
  8. Unless of course you are going to convert the Zetors into more Sames : : :
  9. Would appreciate a picture if possible Sean, I didn't get to have a good look at the ones on Sunday. I am a 50 year old grown man and I am terrified of cutting up a small metal model. Whilst I am on, what would be good tyres for a 3140?
  10. After having a conversation with Sean at Spalding I am going to try my first attempt at altering a model \ \ If anyone is ordering anything from pma32 in the near future can you let me know as I would like to order a couple of linkages and it would make sense to add it on to someone else's order many thanks
  11. They were going for £150 at the show though \ \ \ \ \
  12. I don't think anybody is going to beat that little haul :o :o did you have a fleet of lorries outside to take it all away?? My purchases were PDC Same Jaguar, worth the trip just to get that * * A Yaxon 1/43 Same Galaxy in a dealer box, quite old and also rare UH/Weise Fendt 818 Vario AKK Tirol Siku Fendt 936 Stahlblau
  13. I put orders in at 2 different dealers and they have both told me they can't get any stock, so no!
  14. Saw that when it came in Robl12, though of you, glad to hear you are OK but thought go out to the families of those who were :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
  15. Hmm, I think that "uncontrollable ejaculation" is an unusual choice of phrase, just make sure that there is no-one standing close by when you walk in please \ \ \ \ could be messy ;D
  16. I didn't know he was that young, in that case its a no no, stick to the Cokes young man ;D ;D
  17. Technically he is right, a 15 year old can drink Beer with a table meal, but it does have to be a table meal, bar snacks do not count :
  18. You can buy a 4020 for about £12-14, the Fiat Halftrack is worth £50+ and you want to cut it up :o :o
  19. You want to get worried when he says " just lift the linkage and put the pto in gear" ;D ;D : :
  20. Been servicing the car ready for the drive to Spalding, oil and filters, front and rear brake pads. Then I hit a slight snag.... fronts brakes were no problem, off with the back wheels and the old pads out....that's when I discover that the back cylinders have to be wound back with a special tool and they don't just push back like the fronts. So here is me no brakes on the car and feeling like a special tool myself :-X [ Thankfully I have a friend who is a mechanic and 1/2 an hour later he arrives with said special tool [ phew!!
  21. I know the area well David, I used to spend a lot of time at Littlebeck and went walking on the moors around there a lot as well. I always wanted to do the Lyke Wake Walk but somehow never got round to it \ \ \
  22. Wow :o :o when I see a collection like that I realise how much more there is out there, if half of that is available at Spalding I will be going home happier but a lot poorer \ \ \ \
  23. One daft Spaniel..........she will be 14 this year and now nearly stone deaf
