  1. The 35X Industrial and the MF135 are now on the Farmmodels website, looking at the pictures it looks as if they are mounted on a plinth, is this fixed or can they be removed from it? http://www.farmmodels.co.uk/
  2. One thing to notice is that although the tractors are different colours all the ploughs are the same make, Kvernland ;) ;) Either they are a good plough or they have a good local dealer :D
  3. He could be scouring the plough to shine up the mould boards to get it ready for a ploughing match \ \ that way it is straight into action when the competition begins
  4. Sorry Bazza I have got one of these.....it is horrible....the tyres are the worst I have ever seen :-X :-X They are still in the shops at £14.99 and are overpriced at that.....yeuch!!
  5. Is the Claas version just a green version of the Cat 95E or are there any other differences?
  6. but you still don't know whether your suitcase will go back with you or end up in Timbuktu ;D ;D
  7. Cage wheels were quite common in the 70's and 80's but they were usually added on to the existing wheels, I have never seen a tractor on total cage wheels before \ \ \ it does look a trifle strange to say the least 8) 8) 8)
  8. Spiders in my garden are going to get cold feet this morning ;D ;D
  9. RDF Many thanks for all the hard work and keep it up, I am always fascinated by the scenes that you find as there is nothing like that anywhere near me. A few pages back someone mentioned a "contributor of the year" award, if we have such a thing then you would be getting my vote :D ;) :) :)
  10. I hope that people like Prince Charles watch that programme, it gives both sides of the argument and I think that Jimmy came up with the right answer at the end that GM needs to be investigated further as it has the potential to feed many mouths. I cannot understand the outright resistance of the organic brigade, especially Lord Melchett, as GM has the potential to drastically reduce the amount of pesticide and weed killers used throughout agriculture, that can only be a good thing as the effects of these chemicals are well known and documented. If I were to do an "experiment" like Jimmy did in Norwich high street and ask the question, "do you want to try a sausage that has been grown chemically or one that has been grown without chemicals?" what sort of reaction would that get??
  11. The picture on the G & M site appears to have a black exhaust which is angled forwards \ \ \
  12. I have no idea, I saw that one as the auction came to a close and thought I am sure you can get that model for £14.99 ??? ??? :o :o
  13. Andy can I just ask, is this a questionnaire that RC2 have asked for or is it an idea of your own to add some weight to our arguments? \ \ \ \ \ \
  14. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post your pictures on this forum, it's great to see all the different tractor colours in the same area, just goes to show that all makes can do the same job, it just comes down to personal preference at the end of the day. ;) ;)
  15. Hopefully Chris Lockwood (Belarusfan) will forgive me for posting this link ;) ;) http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp2133.htm
  16. WOW :o :o :o bit too much for me http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-1-25-Vindex-Cast-Iron-Wallis-Farm-Toy-Tractor_W0QQitemZ220295197455QQihZ012QQcategoryZ741QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  17. There used to be a Sugar Beet factory at Selby which took quite a lot from the East Yorkshire area. I believe there is still some grown around the Cambridge area as well as Oliver Walston over on BFF has grown some at Thriplow
  18. The one I have has the green roof and white wheels but has 1258S on the underside of the chassis, I don't know what these numbers refers to though
  19. I know this isn't a brochure but I suppose it could be called "collectable". Massey Ferguson matches http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VERY-OLD-MASSEY-FERGUSON-MATCHES-UP-FOR-GRABS_W0QQitemZ160297948758QQihZ006QQcategoryZ121875QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem There is a reserve on them so he is looking for at least £50 (the lowest reserve you can put on) :o :o Have you got any Marky??
  20. I have got a few SAME brochures but only about 20 or so, I can't really afford to collect models AND brochures. Having said that I have just bought a SAME logo wallet and a keyring...........ooooh robbo pushes the boat out ;D ;D So I suppose, yes, I am as sad as the rest of us on here : :
  21. Here are a couple of photos of a rather strange and unusual Fordson, it appears to have an auger which loads from the rear and also a rear facing seat, is it for loading from stockpiles? This is the auger end where it is driven into the pile Anyone seen anything like it before and if so how does it work? ??? ??? 8) 8)
  22. I think my favourite has to be the "passenger noise reducer" but don't tell Mrs R :D :D
