  1. Oh heck, I just found a photos of the pink one
  2. Then onto Massey Ferguson, there were more of these then just about any other marque, they came in all shapes and sizes, some restored and some in off farm condition, there was also a pink one but I couldn't bring myself to take a photo of that
  3. Then a few odds and sods, Zetor, Renault, Deutz and a Latil, not a marque I have heard of before, but more of that later
  4. There was also an area set aside for radio controlled models
  5. On the grass outside, I had forgotten how big these old Deeres were for their power, I used to drive a 3130 which was 97hp and the 3040 was 95hp. If you compare then to a modern tractor of that horsepower they are far larger. Also, I don't remember seeing a 3040 with an OPU cab before, the one that we had had a Sound Gard cab. The 3140 in the hall had a red rosette so it must have won something
  6. Then I bumped into some reprobates, The Tractor Twitcher chatting to Cenfyn Davies followed by Bazza trying to look friendly, don't let appearances fool you, he is actually quite friendly 😁
  7. Leyland and others including what looked like a JD lawn tractor "Doe" conversion
  8. Next hall appeared to be old crawlers of varying makes, the big Cat Sixty was huuuuuge
  9. Few more Nashes, and a BMB President for good measure
  10. Then into the International hall, some inside and some outside
  11. Each of the permanent buildings was themed for one or more particular marque so I will post a few from each to keep everyone happy, well, except for me. There were no Same, Lamborghini or Hurlimann tractors and only one or two older Deutz tractors, still, I had a good day and I am sure that others did as well. First up, there were some there for auction, and some were in a better condition than others
  12. First time that I have been to this show and have to say that I was very impressed. It always used to clash with the Penrith show but not this year as it is a week earlier. The showground is huge and, as well as the outdoor areas there are several permanent indoor arenas, all if which were rammed full of tractors. As well as the spares and machinery dealers there were a fair few model dealers as well so something for everyone. One of the things that struck me straight away was a collection of 12 X 1200 Series Massey Ferguson tractors, I have never seen so many gathered together in one place
  13. From the Newark show today, first time I have been and very impressed
  14. Thanks Stan, not Scottish though, flying to Dublin from Liverpool but will keep my eyes open on the road to Galway and see what I can find
  15. Question for our Irish members. I have to go to Galway next week on business, are there any good model shops in the area?
  16. Not sure I could afford the postage, I suspect we may have rather a lot to bring back between the 4 of us in my car plus the other car load
  17. No not yet, if you have any advice or tips they would be most welcome as we are likely to get clobbered as we return

    Schuco 2022

Due in December 2022, Same Buffalo 130 both with a cab and also a version with a roll bar. However, knowing how these time estimates are then I wouldn't be surprised if this gets put back into the New Year. Let's face it, we are still waiting for the Same Dinosaur that was supposed to appear in August, (well, I am anyway)
  19. A Schuco John Deere 4955 with twin rear wheels, not sure that it would fit with the collection but it was at a price I couldn't refuse 😜
  20. Saw this one parked up at a farm this morning, sorry about the glare
  21. Well spotted that man! I hadn't noticed that, you are correct
  22. The linkage is taped to the underside of the plinth. The linkage version also has a taller air cleaner
  23. Mention has been made that there are 2 versions of the Same Laser 150, both come with a front weight ( that I have not yet worked out how to remove) , and the other has a front linkage option. The main difference between them appears to be the position of the headlights, either at the top or bottom of the grille.
