  1. I am not getting out and about as much as I would like due to this virus but I did manage to get a couple of photos today. I have photographed this tractor before earlier in this thread, a Renault 160-94 this time with a KRM spreader doing some top dressing.
  2. Haha love that expression, never heard it before but it's going to be my next favourite saying
  3. Bazza is one of my favourite sellers, but don't tell him I said that otherwise he will become insufferable.
  4. Also in the same bundle are a couple of implements. I have got a Same Buffalo in a set with the muck spreader and also a Lamborghini with a different coloured tanker, these are pictured earlier in this thread. I have not got the irrigator hose reel before or the forage wagon. I know that the hose reel also comes in a Same branded box but the one that I have seen is up for a silly price that I am not prepared to pay
  5. Another one that arrived in the bundle today was an MF 1134 with an open platform cab and different decals, or rather a mixture of these two
  6. I mentioned at the top of this page that I was going to keep an eye out for the Landini 12500 in 2 wheel drive, well it arrived today along with a couple of other bits and bobs
  7. Shame they didn't include the Same Tiger 105 in that test
  8. I can't believe the stupidity of people who have got this idea into their heads that somehow 5G and Covid 19 are connected. It needs to be pointed out to them that some countries that do not have 5G are Covid 19 hotspots such as Iran. The same people also seem to believe that the Royal family are lizards and that aircraft are spreading mind control drugs, flat earthers the lot of them
  9. That looks good, who will be the seller as I would like to place an order? Thanks
  10. As I understand it Paul, if you take other paid work during the furlough period you will lose the 80% that the government are paying. Maybe that is why farmers are asking for volunteers if they cant now get the usual pickers
  11. What are people's thoughts about ebay seller combining their postage fees for multiple buys? I have just bought two models from the same seller, they were at the top end of the price bracket for that type of model but they were ones that I wanted, I was the only bidder for them which would also tend to suggest that they were slightly overpriced but that was my choice. I normally pay as soon as the auction ends but, in this case I waited for the seller to send an invoice hoping that he would combine the postage costs, I did not ask for a reduction as I believed that a reputable seller would make that decision for themselves. When the invoice came it was double the postage without any reduction for a multiple purchase and I sent him a message to say that I was disappointed. he replied to say that he does not say on his listings that he would combine postage costs and offered to cancel the transaction and refund the whole amount. I am going to stay with it because I do actually want the models but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I am unlikely to go back that seller again.
  12. Ooh hello Pongo Used to have a pig man on our farm who was known as Percy Pong, do you qualify?
  13. I remember using a very similar rake many years ago. You couldn't use it at full pto speed or it would throw the grass underneath the side catcher canvas. If you the lowered the canvas arm it would catch on the ground and bend out of shape.
  14. People want organic produce, they just don't want to know how it gets grown
  15. That looks to be a nice little tractor for its age, quite a collection you are getting now
  16. Another one where I am left wondering if the seller has got the decimal point in the wrong place, 100 euros for a 1/43 Hatchette model. I know it is not the commonest one but that is so far over the top, and then there is another 12 euros for postage! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-hobbies-Hachette-Tractor-Same-Explorer-100-2008-1-43-used/402131322290?hash=item5da0e505b2:g:UNkAAOSwwmBchO44
  17. Something that I didn't know. At some time in the past SAME produced badge engineered tractors for both Ford and Massey Ferguson. I knew that they did tractors for both White and Oliver in the USA but not these
  18. They did indeed Sean, Siku even made a model version of the Renault based one. I had it in a boxed set and I sold it at Zwolle in 2017 but it was also available on it's own.
  19. Don't think so, just someone's idea of fun
  20. Ok, just as long as they don't do it in that nasty blue colour
  21. You would think that I wouldn't like this but, for some reason I do, and I think the colour scheme quite suits it
  22. Smithy, you work too hard for your own good. If it is any consolation, Martyn was missing you today on the stall so hurry up and get better.
  23. I don't know if Joe can give any further information but the farmer seems to like his classic Fords
  24. Had a bit of a run out with work to Ellesmere in Shropshire, (CX820Joe country) and came across a classic Ford parked at the side of the road. Took a couple of photos of this and then saw a few more in the farmyard across the road.
  25. It is not until you see an older tractor like this one that you realise how narrow the front tyres used to be, we are now so used to seeing wider, low ground pressure tyres that it looks a bit strange nowadays
