Hi i got my 954 here in Manitoba a few years ago and paid $5000 for it there are pictures on page 3 of members machinery if you want to look. as you have said you really need to watch out for parts especially the unique county stuff. Most of the wrecking yards that had countys in have cleared them out as they where stripped and are getting to old to stock. be very carefull as I was quoted $5000 for a used hub for another tractor I looked at before I got mine guys know that they are not common . I would also think twice about using it on the farm for the same reason if something happens its gonna get expensive quick. I have only put about 3 hours on mine in 5 years. I was offered 10 grand for mine with the new tires and turned it down as they are hard to find and didn't Think I could replace it for $5000 again. I dont want to put you off they are a real show stopper tractor as not many guys in Canada know what they are. Im just passing my owners knowlege on to a potential owner. Regards Robert

Lone Star International conversion...
fordson major replied to trx's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
Well my first thought was hit it with a hammer but thats not what you want to hear To be honest I was thinking IH 1046 0r something like that but she's a 4 cylinder model they where 6's . I would try searching the German model range of old internationals and see if she looks close to any of the 4 cylinders in that range. The other thing Im thinking she does not look bad as is maybe add a hitch mirrors lights and turn the exhaust round so the flap points the right way. To get a true looking tractor the cab will probably need a lot of work. it already looks 100 times better than original it just needs an identity and some more detail . I guess it's all down to how much time you want to spend on doing it for the end result . Regards Robert -

fordson major replied to Tractorman810's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Today I went to our CaseIH dealer and sitting on the shelf was their last 1/32 toy farmer international 3788. It is now sitting on my shelf for $60 . Thats about $40 less than i can buy it from ebay or toy farmer with shipping and customs fees added for Canada . I was so pleased I called in for something else sometimes they don't have any models in. I nearly got one from the internet last week Regards Robert -
Anybody seen the original britains Massey ferguson 590 in box for 285 pounds buy it now listed . looks to me like it's got the wrong back wheels on it. Regards Robert

Well for me it was trying to figure out why the lights on a Belarus tractor did not work properly and the fuses all glowed red hot but didn't blow .I Finally got it figured out after 2 hours of head scratching and looking, The last Muppet that worked on it got the ground wire in the loom connected to a positive wire. I fixed that and the lights work perfect, and the blue dash board light for main and dip goes on and off like it should now not glowing all the time like it did before . Now I'm drinking coffee/ reading the forum Then going back to deal with the other 5000 issues Belarus tractors have :'( . Regards Robert

Artisan/PMA 32 2wd front axles
fordson major replied to fordson major's question in Custom Model Methods/Tips/Help
Thanks for the Info I found the flag when I got on the site. I was also tipped off about google chrome translator By JK. I have just tried that and found it didn't translate the page to create an Account. That is where I'm real stuck as I want my hard earned dollars to go to the right place. I guess putting the stuff together is not going to be a problem. I'm a full time farm mechanic you should see some of what i have to work with . Thanks again guys for the Replies so far . Regards Robert -
Hi Guys I was just looking at there web site after seeing a post on here in conversions of the 2wd axle and tyres they sell as a kit. I was wondering if there is anybody in the U.K that stocks and sells these parts. I do not speak french or know any body that does locally so with out using translation of some kind, Their site is a pain to use and even with translation it is hard. I am located in Canada and if there is a source in the u.k that could mail them to me or somebody that would be willing to get them that knows the site system would be great. I would be willing to pay a sensible fee for them doing it on top of other cost. payment could be by paypal to make life easy . even if some body could talk me through the site ordering/ account would work. Thanks for your time and hopefully help in getting these parts If you want to reply by PM that's fine too Regards Robert

Hi Fred If the registration plate is still visible on the model why not try and trace the real tractor/ owner and see if they want to buy it for a sensible amount of money. You never know stupid things happen once in a while Robert
