MJB1
we even used to knock some of the slats out to use as bucket holders for the calf pens
MJB1
never used to worry about uneven ground or the speed at wich you travelled over it & no more heaving 100cwt sacks about
Eurodeere
yep, a brilliant idea but went the way of Betamax and many other great ideas. Only down side was you couldn't go down the road with four on the foks like you could 500kg big bags!

MJB1
yes marcus remember them used to fly sheet 20 tonne loads out of bekesboure ici, with a volvo f7 , and the farm where i worked used the dumpy pallets to keep straw up of the ground so easy to load without the worry of them falling over or against the curtains , & not being able to unload ! i was still hauling them out of what was then ICI avonmouth, on a renault 6wheel G290 & drag in 91 so they must have been some of the last batches of stock to go
