Corn Cultivator for Irrigated land

Recommended Posts

I wanted something that would cutivate rows in a young sweet corn field that ran ground water between the rows.......so I made this little two row culti unit and wanted it to look like it was fabricated right out of the farmers shop......It is behind a small puma 180 machine used on small farms in my area....

Im not keen on posting it up but that blighter Sean is blackmailing me........ >:(

That's called a subsoiler isn't it? Look just like the real thing   8)

well lot of terms we use depend on what part of the country you live in, and what kind of water system is used......many farms still run water through the rows and need to keep the rows opens so using this helps keep them open and flowing.....but in other parts of the country it could very well be considered a subsoiler.......

Thanks for the comments all..................

So land with thin soil or poor drainage right, or excessively dry regions like the south-east?
