jsedelweiss
HELP! I am in need of some help! I'm doing at the moment a 135 4wd conversion and need some wheels for the front of it. They need to be thin and small so it doesn't look rong. Can abody help?

Tractorman810
What about the Britain's JD 4020 4wd \ \ \ \ to big, to wide, wrong hub types mate, from memory they are a good 1.5 cm wider than the rears on the 135 chassis
jsedelweiss
I think it could work, what axle could i use?
Tractorman810
I think it could work, what axle could i use? tey will fit back on with the normal 2wd axel if you want, otherwise your kind of stuck, dont know of a small enough 4wd axel for the job
Simon
One of the little CNH compacts....? TN75DA...? Or the Case version... is it a JXU....?
jsedelweiss
Do you think i could use a deutz axle?
Tractorman810
might work depends on what 135 chassis you have, pin steering or the wire link type, may yet be to wide for the track compaired to the rears mind

Simon
Does any body know who would have any of these britains wheels? I swear I had some, I've got to have a root around for the controversial 7710 chassis in the morning... I'll see if they're in the box and come back to you.... Farmer Giles
You could try Britains Unimog wheels. I think they are the same as the dumper wheels and more easily got.
Deere-est
I've got four of the Unimog ones here but after your sarcastic replies I think I'll keep them.

Johny mf
Maybe you can use wheels off an UH vineyard tractor like the small mc cormick
Simon
I can't find the dumper fronts mate, I've only had a quick look though. I did look at my old 'Mog but it looks like I've changed it over to the rears off the old JCB Loadall at some point.... that may mean that I have some original mog tyres somewhere too.... I reckon the centres will look odd though if you use the mog wheels, may want mog tyres on an old Britains wheel from a 2wd tractor or trailer of some sort..... I will have a better look when I have more time and PM you if I find them....
