Lord Ferguson
much better Sean.. it turns out they've had a fair old number sent back wit hthe same problem recently mate
unkelfergus
Good little splitter you've got there Mark. We use one of those for the smaller stuff and a big old vertical Parmiter splitter for the big stuff. The only problem we've had with it is the roll pins in the point end of the drive line breaking when you try to split a really hard and knotty piece.Apart from that its a really good little splitter. We get thru one screw in point a year, left-hand thread I believe when you come to change it,......its wound in there bloody tight when you come to change it... , but grease the new one in and do it up finger tight only.. Lord Ferguson
thanks John... the salesman told me the point will last me for years ;D - typical salesman hey. They told me to gring two flats on it to unscrew it back out... is that correct As for the rollpins... is that that their shear bolt system then
unkelfergus
Yep,.. thats what I did plus a bit of the gas spanner,....was still sodding tight though.. And yes again,....if they dont break you get one serious pto wind-up......

jdc
Useful bit of kit that. I prefer the hydraulic one, but looking at that wood, it won't take much splitting anyway :D
MJB1
just thought i'd post a few pictures here mark , hope you don't mind . after all there may be something that might just interest you not bad for 3222 hours on a T plate & her name's molly i expect
Lord Ferguson
Ooo I do like the look of Molly... she's missing a lot of the rubber work around the dash though.. I can imagine the draft coming through those gaps on a cold and wet day As for the cutivator.. what a pile of junk.. who in their right mind would but that :D So.. come on.. we need to identify it mate
