farm yard lighting

i m decided to put some lights into my yard and have got a few led s but i was wondering which is best way to mount them .has anyone else put lighting into yard and if so could show me some pictures .thanks

i keep looking at some rail way lights which with a small amount of work will make some great spot light /lamp type lights for the layout, but i dont really know whats involved with the power supply for them, kept a old transformer of my train set just in case mind

i have some downlighters from there in my sheds, running off a 12v transformer, the bulbs were upgraded from 3.5v to 12v etc., they arent to bright and look great, prefer them to LED's as they look to bright? \ \
