BC
Taylors the auction rooms are holding a toy and model sale on Saturday 7th February 2009. Not a lot takes my fancy but I may have a trip down depending on what is happening on Saturday. http://www.scotlands-treasures.co.uk/taylors-auctions/index.php

I recall I got it around 1970 ish and I still remember that toy / newsagents shop in Banff to this day ;)

BC
Well on Saturday morning we did not have any more snow so I decided the sale was on for me at Montrose. Black roads all the way to Stonehaven but when I hit the coast road it was a whiteout and snowing heavily between Stonehaven and Inverbervie. I was committed now so no turning back and from Inverbervie to Montrose there was very little snow on the roads. At the sale I managed to acquire a boxed Britain's No 128F Fordson E27 on rubbers plus driver for less than the expectred price in the catalogue ( £ 120 -150 ) . I hope I didn't pay too much for it ???

BC
I have scrawled down prices of a lot of the items so have a look at the catalogue and tell me which numbers you want to know about.

BC
Well super6 I got it for £ 100 hammer plus 20 % premium plus VAT on premium so £ 123. £ 100 was going to be my maximum bid since I have never paid that much for any Britain's model. marshman
So you think I should make a profit if Isell it on Adam Up to you Bill mate. I possible would sell it, as i am not a fan of the real e27n, i would prefer a e1a, the orange wheel major britains. I would think you could get at least £170? BC
Nice little purchase there Bill Yes I quite pleased with the old blue Mark. I must say I don't particularly like the real E27N's to drive especially with the clutch pedal where the brake pedals should be
