I think this is the right place to post this.

My question is why do contractors with the umbilical system sometimes use a grain trailer with a pipe coming out of it? Has anyone else seen this? I saw W.J. Stewart (i think) using it!

why not use a slurry tanker then blake?? bit risky with a grain trailer if the back door came open, seen one down here that has a tank on a low lader for the same job, i asume he just drags it ion when needed so still has the trailer

would it be cheaper than buying a tanker ?

well nothing comes cheap i guess it would be for quickness aswell, dont need to aim that hole the same plus usuall people usually have an old trailer lying about so just as easy

if you have a 14t grain trailer sealed up it will hold 2 - 3 tankers bepending on size and is easier to fill into with the ferry tankers.
