JohnP
What a day to be off work - f-f-f-freezin ! As usually happens, the really heavy clouds are a couple of miles away towards the coast and cars coming back from there had a good covering, but we've only a couple of light showers here in East Yorks. The Wolds have a had a dump as usual - one village cut off this morning.

Phil P
Knocking on the door of 8 inches in the outerparts of Aberdeen this morning. Absolute pandemonium on the roads the morning, especially heading for the airport around 4am.
Powerstarâ„¢
Our gritter drivers didn't grit the roads last night. \ Bit icy this morning on the A39 southbound.
smallclaas
Lovely day here again no snow, but 20 miles up the road total chaos, why does everywhere close down when a flake of snow falls? Look at other parts of the world they get 6 feet of snow and don't close down!!
Powerstarâ„¢
I have just came back from Austria on Sunday, where there were 7ft drifts in places, the UK has had a fairly general dusting and as you said smallclaas basically closed down, luckily down here roads are fairly well looked after and traffic and buisnes's are as normal. Tractorman810
strangest thing i have seen down here, snowed in plymouth, rare, and hardly anything over the moors, usually the other way round
Powerstarâ„¢
Same down this way Sean, we hardly had any snow compared to Barnstaple itself which had quite a good covering, snow over all parts has melted now though with broken cloud and a fair bit of sun
