Buster bill is having a day off, we've only 7 acres of barley left to cut and bale and where done. SMurF Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 Absolutely persisted it down this morning causing all sorts of floods Had 3 changes of clothes by 12 O'clock from doing the councils job of unblocking drains found some that I didn't even know were there totaly covered with about 6 inches if soil and weeds. Only found them couse there were dropped curb just visible so i had a dig and hey presto no flood anymore into our fields. the supprising thing was that none of the drains were blocked up inside just over the grating.Boss is going to ring the council to see why they were in that state for so long when there has been flooding problems for years without anything being done Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
