Deere-est
An interesting project to watch, Spud. Could you use drive bands for webs? The toothed type. Is that aluminium box tube for the mainframe?

Niels
Are four row harvesters used in the UK? With 72" beds it doesn't seem very compatible? Three row harvesters are more common really? Webs can be made from strips of rubber and the thinnest brass wire you can find (found in electric cables) which is around 0.1mm and as thin as hair. Though I have to say it is not really possible to get a correct spacing but still makes a satisfying result.
