sparrow legs Posted January 16, 2006 Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 i have just bought the same hedgecutter/loader tractor hopeing to take it offv and re fit onto a massey or fendt 818 but it is rivited on, how did you get yours off and re fitted as the model is so fragile im afraid i brake it. MODELFARMER Posted January 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 VERY CAREFULLY, drill out the rivots, keep top link on the hedge cutter, Look below the hedge cutter, undo all screws 1st, this will allow easiest access to take out the rivots, to fit to the claas simply make the arm cups slightly bigger either by dremel or round needle file, this will allow the hedge cutter to sit comfy into the arms, spot of glue here and the same for the top link, NOW A MUST . . . . glue the lift arms SOLID!!!!!
