Fendt Fahrer
This is a model made by a dutch master modeler. The detail has to be seen to be believed. Unfortunatly I have not found any uncopyrighted pictures yet. If I do I will post them here. But you can go see this model in design, construction and finished product here. http://forum.grostracteurspassion.com/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=19715&sid=aecf2449b8473c096226e2bad6e6e03e&start=20 or here; http://agriscale.nl/models/agrifac%20hexa12/agrifac_hexa12.php?l=en

Fendt Fahrer
Hi Marien please post your pictures of the building process as well as the final results here. The elements that really interest me are the elevator, unloading elevator, topper, digger, and engine with hydraulicpumps. Did you borrow the engine from another model (which one, maybe the UH krone bigM) ? Did you scratch build the hydraulic pumps ? How did you make the elevator chains ? Where did you get these tires from ? I know I have many questions but I am interested because I am just trying to figure out how you built such a masterpiece. Plus I could really use tires like that for my Beeteater. thanks for your help. Markus
Agriscale
Hello Markus, On my website, I try to explain how I went through the building process of the Hexa. Both with text and pictures. Please refer to http://www.agriscale.nl/models/agrifac%20hexa12/agrifac_hexa12.php?l=en I'm sure it will answer most of your questions. The tires are casted by Robert Peeters and are selt by Henry Walker, the Netherlands (email: mailto:walkerpart@hotmail.com) Hope to have been of help, Marien
Fendt Fahrer
Thanks Marien, I did see your website but I just thought it would be very interesting and enlighting to everyone on here to see how you built that supermodel. What i could not get from your site that interests me are : what are the elevator chains made from and how did you make them. Where did you borrow the engine from ? I am sorry to bother you with these questions but you have to understand I have never seen a Hexa or any other beetharvester in real life. No sugarbeet are grown anywhere near me (closest ones are aproximatly 800 km away) I am just fascinated with these monster machines. I have a beeteater and will get the ropa but I would like to detail them better. That is why I would like to know how to make a realistic looking elevator chain. If you could help me with that I would really apreciate it. Maybe some design drawings and instructions would be really helpfull. Thanks
