civilpek
heres a model from Chris Irwin as ye can see it is fantastic, and virtually the exact same as the real trailer. notice the space between the back door and the floor as discussed in the "silage post"

Guest Fendt pwr
Looks like the cats bum that CP,very tidy indeed. If I had a model farm that did pit silage I'd want one of them for sure.
JC
Chris has done a grand job there Alan, is it scratch built or based on another trailer??
ford4ever
Straight to the point -How much did it cost???
civilpek
well i havent actuallly bought one from him yet, was looking into it a while back but its expensive so ill have to wait till i can afford it. cant remember the exact prive off hand now but i think its somewhere between ?80 - ?90, but you pay for what you get and it is top quality. its nearly totally scratch built except for the chassis which i think he used a joal log trailer

NewHolland2
That looks like a great model Alan. It looks incredibly real and those mud-flaps top it off...... ;)
Lord Ferguson
What a crackijng piece of kit that is. ?Worth every penny of the ?80-?90 price tag in my opinion. ?Little details like the foot and the hydraulic pipe really do it for me. ?Great stuff ? civilpek
not sure about the sprung suspension fp and i agree nh2 the mud flaps really finish it, clooser to the summer il prob get one or two of them, i also have some agrium model trailers which ill post up when i go home they too are great fitted with break and tipping hoses, flotation tyres etc
Deere-est
WOW looks like a leaflet photo. Certainly very very realistic. Very pricey in my eyes though but as it is a scratch built body it does look like a hell of a lot of work to get it looking as good as that. Powerstarâ„¢
What a trailer , If I had enough money I would run a fleet of 4 1:32 models With the amount of time spent on that model and the detail it is really worth ?90. I want one \
civilpek
he had to stop advertising that he was making it as there was such a demand and at present i believe thers a waiting list of a few months so that will just tell you. i plan on getting two and together with my 3 agrium model trailers that will be my silage set up

civilpek
he also makes a kane low loader and was going to make their dump trailer but unfortuntaly there wasnt enough demand for the dump trailer so he kinda scraped that idea

Deere-est
Hey that is smart, did you have that on ebay? It's good of Redrock to have given you actual drawings and the permission to build it. Those sort of links say alot for the said company. Great work Mr Agrium!!! And top marks to Redrock too. leemillar
Where can i buy one of these kane trailers
civilpek
you can contact Chris Irwin through his web site which is cimodels.co.uk, the trailers dont feature on the web site because there was such a demand for them that the waiting list became too long, he is still making them though
