Deere-est
Put a review up Johnny! We'd all like to read it I am sure
archbarch
yes please Johnny put a review up. As for front mudguards they were very much seen as an expensive luxury by most farmers around that time, i never really saw that many tractors with front mudguards until the mid 90s. Andy
Any 7810 reviews submitted will most likely be entered in the next Model Farmer Magazine too.
mrol
Here's a few pictures to get the ball rolling....will possible try a review if I get the time in the next day or two.
mrol
And a little comparison with some of it's peers - the Imber 5640 and the Britains 5610....makes the Britains look a little ropey by comparison and really highlights how Britains didn't stick all that closely to scale. mrol
And teamed up with a combine from the same era...
mrol
Finally a couple of implements to accompany it - Replicagri Nodet Fertiliser Spreader and Britains Bomford Superflow
mrol
Ooops - depth of field has gone a bit wrong on some of these photos (for the photo boffins out there)...will try to correct for the next lot so everything is in focus at one time!

Tractorman810
nice to see it takes the old britains implements ok, and looks spot on alongside that dommy combine to, maybe i will get one afterall now having seen them pics

mrol
Makes a perfect partner for the Claas combine - a shame no one makes a decent older style grain cart as the Britains models (especially the hitch) just don't seem quite right...again the scale seems a bit odd (just too big in this case!). mrol
Mine came from G&M - they have some in stock and more coming in August - selling like absolute hot cakes apparently....so don't delay.
Tractorman810
mm i can see a dommy 108 alongside the ford with my 8 ton pettit trailer , well once i get the combine and the ford that is :D time to save some penneys for the combine

Fendt Fahrer
looking at the picture with the britains and imber tractors I wonder which one(s) is out of scale ? The 7810 looks a bit small compared to the others or are the others a bit large ?

The 7810 looks a bit small compared to the others or are the others a bit large ? it looks like the 7810 is of scale the britians 5000 is near the same size! Paul Palmer
only a few months ago uh were getting slaughtered for being responsible for helping to kill off small and single model makers, looking at udimores posts this model has sold very ,very well, wholesalers sold out,so it goes to show whatever company it is,if its the right model, holds a nostalgic memory, the right price and looks the buisness it will sell,i wonder how many people who were slagging uh off went and bought the uh 7810 model
mrol
The 7810 and 5640 are pretty similar size wise and scales right I think - the 7810 was a small tractor. The 5610 is out - the same basic model also appeared first as a TW20 and then as a 7710. The scaling for the model was all based around the size of the standard Britains rear wheel and hence it's really a too small TW20 and no where near an accurate 5610. Deere-est
Nice trio there, Mark. I would say however, that spreader maybe a bit too much for the little Ford! One of them with a full load will wheelie a 6900 with no front ballast
