Lord Ferguson
I use my bandsaw... ?90 and you've got one of the most useful tools your workshop can have in my opinion. I've got an old Delta 28-180 - but I think it's now been superseeded by some other model - still only ?90 I think - a real bargain buy in my opinion. james f
AH I see, i need one of those where me get one, cause a knife is crap Plastruct is easy to cut. You just score it along where you want to cut it and then give it a bend and it snaps right in half exactly where you marked it.

Lord Ferguson
You need a fair bit of power if you are going to sand large lumps of metal Sean... my one is slightly under powered really - I've made it smell a few times
Tractorman810
it's only to square up the ends / tops of the trailers i do,currently do them with the angle grinder, but a sander would be easier, just cut then sand nice and even like
Lord Ferguson
Ah.... I see - any model will do that I'm sure - I find the join in the belt a pain in the arse until it beds down though for that sort of thing... and it's bloody hard to keep things square when you are sanding an item that shape as well
