Tractorman810
i have to say the 124's on the farm never let us down all 3 farms every year from new till they sold up, just the ocasional bearing going from time to time, did a fair amount of work too given we had approx 8000 acres over the 3 farms each year baled,
Lord Ferguson
Here then lads.... rock backwards and forwards in you chair... smack the pillows to get some dust flying around... shut your eyes and you'll be there.... Ooooo that noise... it was hipnotising... clunk clunk..... clunk clunk.... I reckon baling was my favourite farming task to be part of in my youth... I liked it more than combining I think

I liked it more than combining I think mine too i ratherd conventional bailing to round bailing as we never had all this shuttle leavers on our tractors so if you setup the bailer & strings etc first thing you could just go non stop throughout the day i like that pic markie typical 70s/80s shropshire scene in my eyes

ford/nh fan
that model looks great i think britains realy missed out on making the machinery from the late70's-80's there were some great bits of kit around then . it was a shame they never made a flat 8 sldge to go with the bale grab.
