Definitely been a good year for both haylage and hay, your cattle won't want to go back out!

No Olly all cattle are in side we haven't got much rough ground we have 12 acres of hill ground but some of its down to trees and wild bird cover and we can not graze it the only stock we have on the farm outside is 20 ewe lambs which have the run of 60 odd acres so you wont see them.

We try a breed bulls to sell to other breeders and then the ones that don't make the grade will be took for beef the cost are not to bad just the cost of getting your silage baled really and the meal this year we lowered are cost by turning the silage into some hay and baled it ourselves so that saved us a few £££
