Farmermilkin82.050 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 We have three bulls ourselves, a belgium blue , a limousin and a charolais and we're buying another charolais this weekend at a special show, James.
MF-ROB Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 Mucking out a few of our sheds the leyland comes into her own for this work but dont forget to duck ha ha!
MF-ROB Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 well before we let the cattle out on to the grass for the summer we have to do a bit of work to few fences
Light Land Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Your fencing looks very poor,The stays on your strainer post are only going to push the post out in time not hold it in.I'm not trying to up set you but if set the stays back more and wedged them into the strainer post so the stays are only 2ft above the ground were they wedge into the post and kept your post out in the paddock cut off at ground level you would'nt need the bit of wire for the stock to play with as it's the part in the ground thats suporting the strainer post not the bit above the ground. If stock push post out in the paddock you'll lossen the strainer post and so on and so on.

Your ok Light Land thanks for you input its always welcome we put the stays on the strainer as its on a bend we also put cement into the hole that the strainer sits in to hold it in place. Never though of what your saying when we put it up but what your saying is right but it will do our job for now.
