MB Trac
Here is a new diorama I started yesterday. I have a lot left to do on these 2 sections. There is no plan on how many sections there will be yet. I am just going to build onto it as I go along. Don't tell the council about the pond. It's a bit of a hazard at the moment. May get the lads around with the post hole driver. I still have all of the fields to fence etc yet

MB Trac
I have to get some figures for it and make some small tools to cut the sticks. This shed has seen better days. The pipes in the pond are just for draining the lower part of the field
MB Trac
Last few pictures for now. I still have a lot of detail to add into these 2 sections

markduck
Stunning detail in this layout, look forward to the other sections that you might add in the future. What have you used to create the terrain, so that you've got hills and the depth to do a pond?
B O R
super but i wouldnt expect any less from such a mastermind.........hope to see it in the flesh one day!!!!
MB Trac
Thanks for the comments. I still have to figure out the yard and sheds. May sort out the legs on the cows too. They are standing very off for being on a hill ha ha!. I have one other trick for the layout. If it works it will be nice. Hopefully I'll get to the All Ireland show and the Moira show with a diorama this year.

MB Trac
Stunning detail in this layout, look forward to the other sections that you might add in the future. What have you used to create the terrain, so that you've got hills and the depth to do a pond? I have actually used paper mache underneath the hills. It is a little bit fiddly to figure out as you kind of have to plan ahead. Then you can cut out holes etc once it has set up. I think you could get the same effect with fiber glass and resin
MB Trac
I am adding 2 more sections to the layout at the moment. I want to do a silage scene and also a farm yard. I think there will be 8 sections altogether.
Lady Ferguson
Really nice. I particularly like your static grass - something I haven't quite got the hang of!
