Well we've decided today the Lexion 480 will be on its 10th season this harvest, so i think after harvest it's time to buy a new combine to join the lexion 600 we also have, the question is, do we buy another lexion 600, or try something different and buy a John Deere T670i?

And by the way i'm about to lock the poll about the tractor, i've decided to go for the 9530t!

Well the farm is being taken out tomorrow to have a new carpet fitted in my room, but i've decided afterwards i'm going to use these for the concrete effect on the floor of the yard: http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=260593&c_2=2%7Ccat_16849237%7CCarpet+Tiles%7C14258204&c_1=1%7Ccategory_root%7CFlooring+and+Tiling%7C16849237 As it is my bedroom floor so i can't be using any sort of adhesive or anything like that, figured out i'm going to need about 15 tiles cut up into different shapes to make the yard, then going to get some hanging basket liner to make grass verges round the edge and for the entrance, i also plan to make myself a little wooden gate for the entrance, planning to finish the buildings tomorrow then i will just need black corrugated card and grey paint, then the yard will be beginning to take shape  :D

saying goodbye to the old 1135, she's been a good tractor considering it was the first tractor Crossgates ever had and has outlasted many other tractors we've had over the years, not sure what will be replacing it yet but we think it might be blue  ;)

And just as i arrived back with the 8250 Liam turned up to show off his new land rover defender :P  and while he was there he gave me a hand to hitch the 2 fastracs up to the trailers ready to do a bit of contracting hauling compost for an old friend of mine next week  :D

Well my 7530 had some trouble with the hydraulics, so look what i've had carting compost this week!  ;)

we're going to be having a lot of new kit now as we just sold off 1500 acres of land, we now grow 1000 acres of spring barley, 1000 acres of Oilseed Rape, 1000 acres of wheat, 1000 acres of spring beans, 1000 acres of sugar beey, 500 acres of potatoes, 500 acres of carrots and 500 acres of parsnips, now on 6500 acres.

Well it was nice to have the old 6410 out again, but the only problem was she didn't quite have the guts for hauling 16 tonne of compost, so i decided while i was waiting for my 7530 to be repaired i'd get myself a demo in, so i've got this little beast for the week  :D
