stehos
Ronald, must have been quite some money, the offset tractor brochures are very hard to get. Nice to see you filled some gaps.
rorsday
Yes, these are very nice brochures, I don't think I have any of them. Which one of you is going to buy that ultra-rare Doe 150 leaflet on eBay then? Or will it be me! That is the holy grail of leaflets, just two pages and not much more than a photo-copy, but it is super rare. I know of two in existence, one in Belgium in the Henri Gratia collection. Now there is a collector, do either of you know him? I used to correspond with Henri over 15 years ago and he has an incredible collection of rare Ford conversion leaflets, not to mention other non-Ford products. What will that Doe 150 leaflet make gentlemen, let's have your valuations? R Day
stehos
Have a go Rory. Will be out of my budget I guess. A few weeks ago two Doe 130 brochures from the USA sold for over US$70 each, so this one would hit the GBP100 mark probably.
Niels
A normal Triple D Major brochure did £120,00 on Ebay the other week and a Matbro Mastiff one a good £100 so I assume this should be the same or more? Probably in the region of £150 although the styling and the fact that is is just a sheet will have its toll. Remember, a brochure (or anything else for that matter) is only worth as much as the top buyer will pay for it. Some very rare items can sell for very little, some not so rare for quite a bit more! Fendt Fahrer
I know where one of those Doe-130 brochures went to PS: not me......
stapelopfordson
@ Jack, I "just" paid 60 euro for two different Ford offset brochures, so lets say I was lucky this time. @ Rory, I'm definately interested in both Doe brochures, but I'm afraid that it will be out of my budget too. I think it will end over 100 GBP... and thanks to Markus (Anfield Vario) I got my third Doe brochure , the Doe 130 brochure: Doe 130 brochure (4908/ETP/31/2MR/3/66)
stehos
Well Ronald, so I was outbid at least one time by you . Now I'm curious who bought the other one...
stapelopfordson
ok, then I'm curoius how you managed to place a bid on those. I needed some help from over the ocean.
stehos
I contacted the seller and he probably opened up the posibility to bid from over here...
Fendt Fahrer
I tried the same but could not even contact the seller. So I missed bidding for the first one. Then all of a sudden I was able to use my US address for the secont time around and got it done for Ronald. Even though I had to bid a little more than Ronald initially told me. I bought the two County brochures for myself from the same seller.
Niels
Well the D-130 and D-150 didn't sell for the expected prices then! Did they fell in the hands of forum members? I'm wiling to trade a PDF scan .
stehos
Niels, was outbid on both of them. And indeed the final prices were not skyhigh. So someone had a good buy!
Niels
A good buy for as long as you try not to think about the fact that it is a sheet of paper with some ink and you could have picked up 50 of them at Smithfields in the 1960s
stapelopfordson
It wasn't me, but the price was good. I always keep in mind "There will be a next time"

stapelopfordson
Last weeks I added some nice brochures to my collection. First an american 4000 5000 Orchard Specials brochure, not seen very often. With special thanks to "Anfield Vario". From another FTF member, "David Brown" I bought a American export TW brochure, very happy with that one. Also bought some brochures to trade, but they had different codes, so these code variations stayed in my collection. http://www.stapelopfordson.nl/pages/new_201301_en.php I had the chance to buy a complete german Ford tractor brochure collection, so I'm now very busy scanning.... so more interesting german stuff to come. stapelopfordson
Two weeks ago I swapped some brochures with Jack (stehos). This is the best way to expand both collections with a closed wallet . So three new additions, a spec sheet of the Ford 2000, a Ford 5900 brochure from the "10 series generation II" era and a very nice Ford 2110 and 4110 LCG brochures from the 1000 series. And yes the next update will be about the german brochures. I finished scanning today . USA Ford 2110 4110 LCG tractors (AD-9127 106550) USA Ford 5900 tractor (31590010.38820) USA Ford 2000 tractor spec sheet (AD 2135)
stapelopfordson
Now the first part of the german brochures, I will show only the most interesting brochures. I start with the newest, the 10 series generation II. I like those typical cabs, such as Mauser. German brochure (10001/3CYT/PL/DOO/3) German brochure (10004/46CY/PL/DOO/321) German cab brochure by Mauser (no code) German brochure (10001/3CYT/PL/DOO/32) Austrian brochure (10001/3CYT/PL/ADO/321)
stapelopfordson
Not spectucular german additions in the 10-series, most of them were already in collection or similar to the dutch versions. But still some to show. I like the typical german overview brochures the most, both versions are slightly different. German Ford 2610 3610 spec sheet (26-36/06/81.R/02/82D) German Ford 6610 spec sheet (66/06/81.R/02/82D) German Ford 7610 spec sheet (76/06/81.R/02/82D) German Ford cab brochure (DLC/03/82/D) German Ford cab brochure (DLC/09/82/D)

stapelopfordson
Now two brochures of a typical german variation of the 100 series, the FORD 7095. The first one was already in my collection, but the second one was new for me. Also a 2 page version of the Ford 7600, I already had a 12 page variant. That's it for the 100-series, 1000 series will be next German Ford 7095 (IV/77) German Ford 7095 (2000 / 2 / 77 / M) German Ford 7600 (no code)
Niels
Ronald, Very nice additions! Have never seen one in the flesh or on a brochure that is. Who build these tractors? The German Ford importer or EVA? It looks like a ZF front axle.
