stapelopfordson
Thanks Niels, I don't know for sure who build these tractors. When looking into the brochures Ford is the only name mentioned. The four wheel drive was an option on these tractors, so there could have been two wheel drive versions too. Both brochures are published by the german Ford factory in Koln. JK
Very nice collection there and great variety. Did Ford issue a brochure for the European market when the Ford 7810 Silver Jubilee was launched? I am aware that a one page, two sides brochure was issued in the UK i believe. Still searching for one though and i understand that they are very difficult to find. Any idea how many brochures were issued?
stapelopfordson
Thanks JK. I have never seen a non-UK silver jubilee 7810 brochure. What I do know that it is on top of my wish list of the newer brochures . And yes it is very hard to find an when it's for sale on Ebay (mostly) you pay at least 150 euros for two pages........ . I have no idea how many were issued, over the last ten years I saw about 5 for sale on Ebay.
JK
Thank you for the reply. Yeah scarce all right, "as scarce as hen’s teethâ€. I understand from what I have read that approx. 150 tractors were produced but I would suspect that there were many more brochures than that issued. stapelopfordson
And last but certainly not least a very nice brochure about the 4RU conversion of the Ford 5000 made by Selene. To be honest I didn't knew that Selene had made a version with four equal wheels, I knew them only of the standard 4wd conversions. I added all four pages, because it is interesting to see, I think... Selene Ford 5000 4RU (no code)
