Andy
Looks impressive Jack. I've not seen anything like that before on a beet machine.Round here anyway. What advantages do the tracks offer?
stehos
Thanks Andy for the nice words We don't sell a tracked machine often, but sometimes a customer wants ultra low ground pressure and better flotation. We had (and also in the UK I guess) a lot of rain this season and a lot of farmers don't want their field being ruined by the large harvesters. A lot of work had to be done to fit the tracks, repositioning the harvestingunit, adding a extra cleaningunit and redesigning the hydraulic drive to the tracks. Also the priceof the tracks adds considerable to the total costs of the harvester, but the standard wheels/tyres aren't cheap either
