Thanks Bill. In honesty over the last two years it has done much less, brother has bought a Case 5130 turbo for most of these jobs now, in 20 years tractor technology has moved on......makes it a tough choice to go back to the County

Unusual to see one on a round bailer!!! yes, its not bad for the baler.......but backing up is a bit slow in low reverse......mind you it gives time for the twine to tie off on the silage

You're on the money with ploughing the "stockade" field......its a steep old bit of ground and not a bustin' lot of soil in it hence why part of it is in grass now. good news about the BB!.....will look forward to that.. HS.
Never had the chance to drive a county, has been one my many missions I've yet to complete, my dad however, used to drive county's for a living when he worked for a logging contractor in Keith, (between huntly and Elgin), he also managed to drive a county fc1174 which was used for drainage work, county's aren't very good for turning either, need 5 football pitches to burl around

Howard_S
yes, your right.....i saw the latest Ford Conversions video.....thought they would have featured more of the 1474/1884s Well there was only one 1884 parked up and two 1474s working which as you rightly point out weren't featured, still a good DVD! Fendt Fahrer
this is such a great topic, especially for me as I almost never get see any countyies. They are very scarce in Canada. My moms cousin had a super six about 2 hours from where I live. But that is the only one I knew of in this area. I so want to have one, one day.
