Tractorman810
there are some merc 1/32nd rc models around on ebay, some have a bulker trailer on them to, the cab glass is blacked out mind, and they can be a tad plastic looking, but nothing some paint wouldn't cure , these are expensive as I have seen them at 30 odd quid and the local model shop to me sells them at similar prices, plus you get a bulker chassis with it to ,just the body needing work then?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jamara-RC-1-32-Mercedes-Benz-Actros-Truck-Tipper-White-Genuine-New-2015-Model-/281692042115?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4196277383 also these scannys, again with a bit of work to them ?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RC-Lorry-With-Excavator-2-in-1-QY0232B-6CH-RC-heavy-trailer-RC-engineer-1-32-/221655097454?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item339bac606e

Stabliofarmer
Interesting, the only new merc I can find is by dickies and appears to be much closer to 1/24 than 1/32 http://www.dickietoys.de/en/brands-products/utility-vehicles-construction/rc-mb-actrosforklift-clark-c25-201119877/ could be worth investigating next time you go if possible

Oakley Farms
16/7/15 Made a start getting things into position ahead of harvest, Barley is any day now so we moved Scorpion 1 up to Hinton Park grain store for pushing up and out loading. The hire trailers have arrived in the yard now thanks to Orchard and Manor Farms until the new ones arrive. We have managed to fill all positions available for hgv drivers, with Steve Marsh, Niel Worthington and Ross Hornby joining the team, just in time to see the new trucks arrive, still waiting on trailers.

Tractorman810
Alex did you ever get round to sorting your seed drill loading? Seeing as a moggy is in the yard what about getting a rig like this built? Found it on the book of face , its custom built and I guess de-mountable it said just the loading auger to be added to it, would make a workable option for you, maybe a dual hopper and loading augers so you can mix ok??? I guess the silver tanks are for some liquids or alikes

Oakley Farms
Harvest Log Day 1 20th July and into the first winter barley at Brympton, volume, coming in at 14% 71 bushel. Yesterday afternoon saw us get everything into place and the yard was busy with our boys helping to set Manor farm up on our CTF bale chaser, this first chunk of barley will be a good test, running short of tractors they have hired in one from Smarts which i believe is our old black one. Bowser was filled ready, combines ready, trailers ready, here we go again, my favourite time of year. #Harvest15
Niels
Alex, nice to see you have started. Can I ask why are you using bushels? Tonnes per acre ok but the American system! Have a safe harvest, looking forward to more updates.

Oakley Farms
Harvest Log Day 2 Day 2 at the Barley in Brympton, should see us wrapped here tonight. The balers have moved in this afternoon which is good and the bale chaser is being set up in field. First 3 loads yesterday went back to Oakley to test the whole dryer and handling upgrade ahead of OSR, the rest has gone up to Hinton Park where it will be outliaded to Riverside. Extended augers are working an absolute treat with CTF, everything running smack on after a little education for the trailer drivers! We are a chaser down this year as the new one is on order so its down to disciplined trailer driving!
Oakley Farms
Harvest Log Day 3 330 acres of Barley completed averaging 9.34t/ha. Back in the yard today working on converting headers ready for OSR tomorrow in the Meads. Philip has been setting up the load sensing on the new trailers and some eager eyed followers may have noticed our change in fleet now?

Thanks Andy, all the fleet has been changed now except for one 6830 which had the lowest hours on, we are running this on for irrigation and spud harvest then it will probably go, that and the 6930 hire tractor. Oakley Farms
Harvest Log Day 4 Well rain has well and truly stopped play here in Somerset totalling nearly 2 inches since friday so everything is shed bound for the time being, the forecast for the week ahead is also somewhat sketchy. Thursday did see us start on the OSR in the Meads before rain came down as we were moving combines up to Kingstone only to turn round and come back again by 7pm nearly in the dark with the black clouds! So to total that its 330 ac of barley off and 93 of OSR off, a long way to go yet!
