Valley Axe Man
Here's a few pics from previous displays that i've done at various shows, mostly featuring Leyland and Marhall tractors but all with the trailed forager theme, The Valley woodlands have been a bit quiet of late but progress will have to start on a new transportable layout and a couple of the maize monster starting to gobble the Valleys maize crop on my mums layout Hope you enjoy
tonto
thats very good.how did you make the maize field that unbelievable well done
Valley Axe Man
Cheers Shane, maize field is actually 1/76th scale (model railway Hornby 00 size) and is a series of kits made by Busch for self assembly, there are 10 stalks to a strip, and each stalk requires its corns painting, then head coating in flock before painting the strip base to resemble the seed bed. A 1/32nd scale kit would be alot easier to work with but no one does one.... yet! Each box of 10 strips gives you a 4" square when put together so to cover a big area its alot of kits and alot of work
