1:32 County 1474 short nose and 1:16 8011 Zetor

Here are a couple of conversions i did over the holidays when i was off at christmas.

One is a UH 1474 county converted to a short nose.

 

Other is a Ceczh made Zetor 8011 painted in more familiar colours to the one we used to own.

I like the County, was it hard to do, and did it take you long?

Thanks. No the county was simple enough, just pop the old bonnet and front weight off, cut lots out of the chassis and modify the weights and pop all the new bits back on, didnt even take the front wheels off. All in all id say about 2-3 hours, over two days just having to leave bits to dry

The County looks sharp, you've done a nice job of that. Pity there arn't more Zetors around in 1/32 like that either.

Are you having decals made for the Zetor, becouse if you can find some one that can make them I would be interested in a set as well.

I was actually going to ask you if you had any made for yours!! I'll see what i can get and let you know, i was thinking of experimenting with some chrome tape and water slide over the top of it, but will see how that turns out.

love them robert the 8011 looks nice and shiny paint work and the county looks well done and the plough is a good match.my uncle had a zetor 8011 on  the back was a nh 37 double chop red and yellow one unfortunily when he died everything was sold out except his 8011 which his son is now doing up!

Nice County, must say I almost went out and bought one lone nose model to convert into a short nose. You don't have any more pictures of when it was built?

Missed this. I do like that short nose as well. Very clever modelling.

Thanks for the comments men Ill also ask Henri for decals some time soon, have a few others on the work bench so want to make one order do.

 

Sorry Hajo i only have finished pictures, it was quite obvious as to where you need to cut, the only slight problem is where the front of the bonnet meets with the weights takes a little lining up
