ive been racking my brains of a way to make them .....ild need an extreamly small drill to drill a hole in a virtual needle the use the thinnest pins as hangong hooks to slide the door into the holes

if i can crack that i can scratch build the IH worldwide cab like in the real world and put the correct doors on instead of relying on the old ertl ih 784 cab and i think it would look better scatch building the cab frame and cladding it like in the real world

i intend to do this by making a IH 454 useing a britains MF 135 chassis as they are quite similar with the subframe and size

plus i can do a just ropps framed version

i think constructing it mainly from scratch is the way to go the cab i mean then add the cladding on later even if it turns out perfect i might cast the frame to make more for the rest of the world wide range as ive now got the 784 cast chassis and the 135 chassis also ild love to make a ih 454 powerd standen cyclone a loader to go on another 454 too

I have tried various things, the easiest being dill and fit a 0.5mm brass rod top and bottom of door frame and sandwich between roof and floor.

I have tried drilling a 0.55mm hole through a 1.0mm plastic rod and using 0.5mm brass as the pin. Cement the plastic rod to the cab side and bend brass to suit door. This is very fragile and I don't know how long it will last.

most of the doors i have done so far are the same way as johns first one mentioned, a .5mm brass rod into the cab roof and cab frame below the door (mf 3000's) or arches if the frames to fine to take it, only ones i got to work properly like they should was the mf 500's i have done,
