Reaaaaally nice Paul!  O0 Love the mud effects by the gate, just requires standing water to be pertinent! Also how about painting the posts with real creosote substitute so you have the authentic smell? ;)

as i said no good taking pictures at night so here is the update,gate fixed,i bent the gate to make it look bashed a bit,and just slighty weathered it,fence posts weathered as they looked to newi had some victorian pine wood stain in the back of the van,so i used that,this dio can always have some different tractors and machinery running down it,today is the challenger 765D,driver just opening the gate,enjoy the pictures

If I'd known that was the look you were aiming it for I could've left it for the postie  ;)

 

Seriously - all looks great, Paul. Very natural and the bridleway is a nice touch - nice to see something a bit different  :)
